Easy to use, and, most importantly, very fast and at a good price!

My relatively new desktop computer suddenly stopped reading my SD photo cards and could not be fixed. Not exactly what I wanted to hear, but The Geek Squad helped me out by recommending this card reader. It is so simple to install and use. The computer does all the work of installing the product, and once installed, it is easy to download all my photos.

I bought this model specifically for use with compact flash memory, but it's performed very well with all types of memory I've used in it. Compatibility is great. It works on my laptop,Surface, and Android tablet with no issues. The only difference between this unit and the higher priced ones is the brand name on the case.

A card reader may not be the most exotic hardware, but it was crucial for me to pick one up on night when my internal one died. Thank goodness BB was there. Ii's supposed to read several types, but I only used the SD card function. It plainly states that the card goes in upside down, which is true. But nice of them to warn you.

This card reader was purchased for an aging mother-in-law to aid in the use of her first digital camera. Some card readers have far too many slots making them confusing to use. We only needed SD card functionality. This unit was a perfect complement to the camera we bought and is very easy to use as well as economic.

I purchased this item to replace another brand. This reader allows for the same cards as my previous one and has s longer cord. This some in handy when on a laptop or business center computer without from USB ports. Would recommend this to anyone looking to read cards or travels.

For the price, I've been happy with my purchase. The crad reader does exactly what was expected, no more but no less, either. If anyone has a need for a card reader (this one has been used at work to download different devices), this one works well and I've had zero problems with it!

I was looking for something that would be easy to install and use. This works great for several different sized cards from different cameras. It's all there for downloading the pictures off of your phone or your cameras. I really like this product.

Found out that without a card reader I couldn't load my vacation pictures to my digital photo frame. I was elated it was so easy and it took nearly no time at all to load all my photos. Definitely a must when you need to transfer data from one unit to another, the simple and easy way.

My new computer has Windows 8 and it doesn't allow me to upload images from my camera so Canon told me to get a card reader. The first one I tried didn't work but then I purchased the Insignia and its GREAT! Now I can upload all of my images without any challenges. I highly recommend it!

Purchased this so software would find memory card photos. Software did not work. But, this card reader is easy to use to transfer photos from memory card to external hard drive. Plus, don't need digital camera to perform this task.

I was looking for a way to add microSD capability to an aging tower, which stands on the floor near my ankles. This gives me handy table -top access to quickly swap and load action-cam media to my server and network storage.

Purchased this unit to take with me on a Nikon trip to Chile. Taking hundreds of photos each day called for a rapid method to download to computer and external hard drive. Unit worked very well. The transfers were quick and without error.

The Insignia - USB 2.0 Multiformat Memory Card Reader worked great and as expected. I needed to migrate photo files from our photographer onto our company hard drive for further processing, and this Insignia product did just what was needed.

SD cards are pretty easy to plug in to most things, but if you have a different format memory card this little gadget will work great. It's USB 2.0 so not as fast at 3.0 would be but if you're on a budget and don't need the speed then it will work great for you.
