This is a nice USB card reader. It works exactly as intended on my desktop (Windows) and laptops (Windows and Mac). I particularly like that it has both standard size SD and micro SD slots since I sometimes misplace my SD card adapter for micro SD cards. Please note that this is a USB 2.0 reader. I use this to transfer digital photos that are quite large in file size. If your machine is capable, I would recommend a 3.0 reader for its faster file transfer speed.

If you are just looking for a fast little reader to transfer data from your SD cards, this is it. The driver installed very quickly and I was off and running post haste. I was impressed with how quickly my GoPro videos were copied onto my computer. If you don't require a reader that accepts cards other than SD, this is a great little tool to have, and the price is right as well.

Fairly inexpensive. Does what I need it to do. Great if you don't have a built in card reader. Note: it will block another USB port near it; could make this product slimmer and still work.

After taking some pictures on my Panasonic GH4, I found my laptop's internal sdcard reader was damaged. I purchased this device from a BestBuy location, and, transferred the pictured without even installing drivers. A+

Works well but one has to be attentive when disconnecting the device. Handle it just like any other jump drive.

This little device allows me to listen to music in my car through the USB port in the center console. When using this in my previous vehicle (Mazda6) it was painfully slow to load the tracks every time I started the car. However in my new car (15' Ford Mustang) it loads much faster. So the car itself will determine the speed that device loads the tracks into the vehicle for playback. It's small enough and works perfectly fine. I've only had to unplug it and plug it back in once to get it to reconnect. I had a card adapter that worked like a simple USB drive, it was very useful and compact, but I let a friend borrow it and never got it back so I needed a replacement. I did a lot of searching to try and find an exact replacement but was unsuccessful. This adapter was the closest I could find and was compact and reasonably priced. I have other insignia products and so far I have had no complaints. The side loading of the card looked like it could be a potential issue when the USB connection is in a tight spot. There is no light to indicate it is connected / working, so bare bones. It doesn't have the little cord to adapt to a lanyard and the slot is barely big enough for a key ring...so the challenge so far is keeping track of this little black thumb drive. So no frills but it's getting the job done for the lowest price.

I purchased this card reader after my existing one stopped working. This one is just like using a USB stick. It fits into my computer and reads the material on my data card very quickly. My computer found it right away. I like that it is small and does not have any wires to connect it to the computer while I am using it. My other one had a wire and the card reader was lying on the desk next to me while I was using it. This one does not take up any additional room on my work space.

Needed this item in a hurry, and really didn't want a huge brick of an adapter that worked with 100 million kinds of storage cards either. This was not only cheap, but it just works well and isn't an eye sore. Plus its small enough to keep in your pocket or anywhere else without cables and bulk. It handles the most common and standard storage cards out there and that's really all you'll ever need. For the money its worth it.

I like this product, although I now only buy micro memory cards, I know people who still use all the other forms & sizes of memory cards, so, I really like having the ability to be able to read & transfer things from their memory cards to my computers. Also price I paid was good compared to other sites & stores who either sell the same thing or something comparable.

I carry this because my primary computer is a surface 3 pro. It has a Micro SD slot but I use it as expandable memory. This allows me to quickly and easily access other SD cards, both full-size and micro like a USB flash drive. I am a photographer, and this makes dumping images from camera cards very easy. It is cheap and works great!

It's small and gets the job done - I picked it up to move some files from an old MicroSD card. I did not have any issues with getting it set up. My Windows 7 PC recognized the card reader and the card I plugged in pretty quickly. Data transfer rates are on par with what you'd expect from USB 2.0 devices.

This SD/MMC and Micro SD card reader seems very sturdy. It has a little cap to protect the USB plug while not in use. It also come with a place to attach a string, lanyard, ribbon to hang ip up when not in use. It is a nice classic black color and has a great rectangular shape. It is not too big or too small and works very well. It is fairly inexpensive and is a decent little card reader

This product is very compact which is nice and also works as described. I have only tested it with class 10 SD cards but have not had any issues. Works quickly and reliably. Great that it is USB bus powered and fits in my camera bag when on the move.

I got this because my old SD card reader wasn't compatible with the newer large format cards. This reader is fast and works great. I also like that it can read micro SD cards without needing an adapter. Great product!

This is a great size for this product and it is a very nice and compact so it's extremely portable. It's also very convenient to have all the different types of card readers all in one!
