A must have for my old laptop

Favorite Memory Card Reader
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this because my (aging) computer refused to recognize any memory cards that I put into it to download pics/vids from trail cams, phones, video cameras, etc. Thanks to this Reader I've had no further issues and it's been used probably 30 times since I bought it earlier this month. Just popped it into the USB port and computer saw it automatically and downloaded the drivers for it immediately. Great product!

Handy item for downloading pictures from my camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This SD/MicroSD (there is a separate Micro card slot) card reader is about the size of an average thumb drive, so it is easy to drop into a laptop case. It uses a USB 2.0 interface, so is a bit slower than many of today's laptops can handle. A 3.0 USB interface would be more desirable, but this little dongle does what it needs to do for nearly every task you would put it to. It probably would not be ideal for viewing a movie download to a SD card, but I don't know because I haven't used it for that purpose. Because of it's low cost, it is hard to be too critical of this item. I have found it quite useful and it works as well as other card readers I have used.
