Bought this for a photography class. It’s great to have if your computer does not have an SD card slot. All you do is put your SD card or Micro SD card into the reader and then insert the reader into your computer. I’d say this a reliable product. Hasn’t given me any trouble.

Memory card readers are cheaper than buying new cables. I picked this because of the value and it works great

This was much easier to use than my previous card reader. Simply put your sd card in and plug it in the computer. It works quickly and it can fit any size sd card including micro sd cards.

This compact memory card reader is just what I needed. Easy to use and fits easily in my carry case or pocket.

Cards load from the bottom Which is the side when plugged in my multi port usb adapter. This prevents another usb from being plugged in on that side. No biggie I just plug it in on the far right port or the tower. Other than that it's a good product and works fine.

This device is functional and inexpensive. Does everything I expected of it too. Good value - recommended.

I bought this item at the recommendation of one of the best buy employees. I needed it because I couldn't find the cable that went between my camera and the computer to download pictures. The little card reader did that task and it's so much easier to keep up with. I love it!

I purchased this device to add music to my microSD cards. My PC does not have a media card slot and I have found that most desktops and some laptops no longer offer these ports. This is the perfect solution. Super easy to use and super easy to attach to my "USB, Flash drive, etc." key chain.

The USB SD card reader can read multiple card types and it couldn't be easier to use. The price was under $10.00 and it allowed me the ability to retrieve over 100 pictures that were taken years ago with an old camera. Excellent way to transfer data from one drive to another.

Works as described. I used it with SDHC and MiniSD cards. Would be nicer if it came with USB 3.0.

I was having problems transferring data from my phone to my computer, and this device made it easy. Just pull the chip out of my phone, slide it into this flash drive and let my computer download it. I had no idea this device existed until one of the sales reps showed me.

Went from phone with memory to phone without and this little Gadget worked awesome to transfer stuff even though old phone was completely done. Saved a lot of important pictures by being able to plug memory card in this and then this into phone to transfer pictures.

This is a simple basic memory card reader for SD and micro SD memory cards. Works as it should. Didn't give it a 5-star rating because it is a USB 2.0 device and not USB 3.0. When I bought it, I believed it was USB 3.0 compatible. Oh well, I guess I need to read the packaging better next time and not just take the word of the salesperson. Still, it does the job...just a little slower than I wanted it to.

Actually, USB 3.0+ would have been nice to experience faster file transfer speeds. But this device fits nicely in my mirrorless camera's case and ensures that I am able to transfer photos on the go from my SD/SDHC/SDXC cards as long as I have a USB port available.

It works for pictures and videos and is a lot cheaper than the USB 3.0 ...when I had about 120gb to upload I left it overnight and it was done in the morning. Works well for most people and purposes, no real need to pay $32 for the USB 3.0 when this works just fine

I am not a big fan of any Insignia product, but for the price, this was a slam-dunk. It is straight forward in it's operation and the device can handle most of the available SD cards. Worth other than the product's name, which is usually associated with inferior merchandise.

I wasn't super impressed with this but for the cost, it wasn't bad either. It got the job done!

I got it when I was traveling to go with a camcorder. The camcorder info said the memory card was for Vista and above - and I was traveling with an old XP laptop, so I didn't try to use the card reader until I got home 2 1/2 weeks later (on a Windows 7 computer). It wouldn't work on any USB slots. The next day I took my receipt and card reader back to my local Best Buy and they exchanged it. The exchanged one works great!
