For some reason the SD Card reader on my lap top was not reading my new camera's SD card. Very frustrating. I wanted an easy way to remedy this. This little USB 2.0 SD/MMC Memory Card Reader is the answer to my prayers. It is small and convenient and fixed the problem. Very easy to use. The customer service person at Best Buy was very helpful in recommending it and it was very inexpensive.

I have purchased two of these because the device makes it so easy to input photos on a memory chip into the computer. It works on both Macintosh and Windows platforms. It is as simple removing memory chip from camera, putting the memory chip into the device, and then putting the device into the USB port of any computer. It is much better than using the cords that I used to use with cameras.

This device is great for adding a memory card reader to a computer that doesn't have one. You can dump photos from your digital camera's memory card to your computers hard drive and make more room on the card to take more pictures with. Most computers have one or more USB ports that this plugs into. It makes it a breeze to load up pictures into photo shop to touch up.

I was looking for a cable to transfer pictures from a Nikon Coolpix camera and was told that they were special order from Nikon. As an alternative, I was advised to purchase this really inexpensive card-reader and I couldn't beleive how easy it was to use. The fact that it works for all the memory cards in all of our digitat cameras makes it all the more worthwhile.

This is an easy way to get your photos, videos and other files from your various portable media cards to your PC. I use this to transport video from my micro SD card from my Phantom 3 drone to my computer. It does the job flawlessly. Not expensive and reliable. All you can ask for in a USB adapter device right?! Needed to transfer photos from a customer's phone and my computer card reader ports were the wrong type/size. This reader was inexpensive, extremely easy to use and accomplished the transfer quickly and accurately. It was just what I needed for this this particular application and I am sure I will use it again in the future.

I'm not the most tech savvy user, so I appreciated how easy it was to just plug and play. I travel quite a bit so the the compact design is great and fits in with my laptop and presentation gear. Reliability has been perfect so far, so I'm a happy camper.

My memory card reader is awesome. You can't beat the price. Best Buy has the most competitive prices around. This is exactly what I need it for my digital frame that I purchased at Best Buy. I am truly enjoying my digital frame,which I would not be able to enjoy without the digital memory card.

I have a new video camera as well as a digital camera. My laptop does not have the proper card readers and it's a huge project to insert the cards into my printer and transfer files. I also use it to store my extra cards so they won't get lost. Great value, no-brainer to use it.

We had a few computers in the office with built-in SD card readers. Two of them had quit working without an identifiable reason. Instead of replacing the card-reader assembly we simply purchased these and they work perfectly, especially for the price. The portability is also nice!

Didn't consider buying a USB micro SD card reader until I knew it existed. Does what it's supposed to. Reads micro SD & SD/MMC. I think it's better than a SD card adapter though. Very portable; like a standard-sized flash drive. Relatively inexpensive. Definitely worth it imo.

I bought this for easy use in a laptop and a desktop that did not have any smart card reading capabilities and used it to install the OS on my Raspberry Pi's 64GB SD card. Windows 10 loaded the USB drivers for this immediately and I was able to complete my task in a few minutes.

I was getting tired of reaching in the back of my iMac to awkwardly insert my SD cards. With a USB cable extender plugged into my iMac this was the perfect solution. Small and convenient, this card reader allows you to access both SD cards and the much smaller Micro-SD cards.

This is a very handy item. Allows you to insert either a full size sd card or a micro sd card and then insert into a usb port on any computer. Seamless viewing of either photos or video and price is unbeatable. Picked up in store and this went fast and painlessly. Get one!

I think I paid 10 bucks for this while I was traveling and in a pinch. You know what to expect when you buy a card reader, and you get what you expect at a great price. I might consider spending a bit more for a USB3 version if I had larger amounts of data to move.
