I think I paid 10 bucks for this while I was traveling and in a pinch. You know what to expect when you buy a card reader, and you get what you expect at a great price. I might consider spending a bit more for a USB3 version if I had larger amounts of data to move.

Worth the money. I read a lot of reviews before I make any purchases and overall, I would recommend this item. I would recommend for people who have a GoPro and hate the stupid way you have to upload your videos to your computer. With this bad boy it takes seconds.

The SD card reader on my laptop quit working and I needed a reader for copying pictures from my camera's SD card. Saw this inexpensive reader on BB's website, read the reviews and thought it work work for me. It is small and a great value. Works great for me.

It's hard to know when you buy something designed to allow you to use legacy equipment what will function as promised. A simple thing like a card reader becomes essential when you have an 'outdated' memory card which you still want to use. This product was exactly what I had been looking for and functioned as well as could be hoped.

My new laptop for work has a port deficiency, and one of our cameras prefers that we have the SD card out to read instead of plugging directly in to read the contents. This reader is compact and works without a hitch . Recommended if you need something small and reliable.

Good portable SD card reader. The geometry is a little awkward (the SD card is inserted on the side of the reader) but it does not stay in my computer for long, so no big deal. Inexpensive so I bought another one to keep in the camera bag so I'll always have one when I travel.

This is a great compact device that allows for multiple uses that the user can easily get their money's worth out of very fast. Replaces multiple devices that would otherwise cost more money than just this one device. Highly recommend of you are looking compact and portable.

My camera uses SD cards as does one of my computers. My desktop and two of my family's laptops do not. I keep this plugged into the desktop and can quickly transfer files from my camera to the computer. When we go on vacation, just bring it along. Very small an very useful.

The SD/MMC Reader died on my Laptop, so I needed an adapter for my SD Card to the USB Port on my PC. This Reader filled the bill and worked as expected. It even has a separate Micro-SD Slot, along with Standard SD/MMC Slot. With USB v3.0 having been out for a couple of years now, it would have been nice (and would have received 5 stars) if this Reader was USB v3.0 capable. Again, it performed quite well.

This is the second one I've bought, I use one with my laptop and this one was for my daughter. Well made, small, portable and works great. Would be even better only of it was also USB 3.0, but then most of the files from both of our digital cameras aren't that big.

I have the new Mac Book Pro and I needed a way to get my photos from my SD cards to my mac. I don't know why Apple would remove this from the MBP since so many pros need easy access to our cards for photos/videos. Anyway, using this with an Apple USB dongle means I can quickly grab photos and videos off my SD cards and get them on my mac. Works great so far. No issues.

No cables, just insert SD card and plug into USB port on your device. Transferring pictures from you digital camera is just that easy when using this reader. The cost is very reasonable. I bought several for other members of my family. They like it a lot.

Needed to replace a 'mature' Dynex SD card reader I thought i had lost (but, subsequently found). The Insignia is much easier to use, very inexpensive, and fully functional for me. I use the Insignia for everything (keeping the Dynex as a reserve).

I needed a card reader that would support a standard SD card, this one had both SD and micro SD, so I didn't have to worry about finding another adapter for micro SD. It works well on Android via OTG cable I purchased previously. It was slow at copying my copious amounts of music, but that was to be expected considering this is usb 2.0 and it was 3 gigs of audio, but I'm used to usb 3.0 and it was reading on a class 4 card, class 4 is slower than usb 2.0. Another thing is that when 2 cards are plugged in, it will read the standard SD card first, I'm pretty sure this has something to do with Android. Either way, it's doing what it was made to do, and I am satisfied, and I am not a picky person, except when it comes to sound equipment, but that is a whole nother story.
