I never knew this product existed and this saved me a lot of money on repair or perhaps even having to buy a new computer. Lightning fried the Ethernet port and this worked great.

Got this to replace a broken ethernet port on a desktop. Just plugged it in and Windows 10 automatically installed the driver. Worked right away and saved me the hassle of having someone repair the broken port.

Wiring directly to your cable modem can increase cable internet speeds by as much as 50% or so. Comcast Internet needed my help for me to get decent speeds. This worked well for me...so far.

I purchased this during the pandemic to use with my laptop that didn't have an ethernet port. It worked great. My laptop stayed connected and there were no problems with the usb plug. The only things I would change are: this product coming in black for aesthetic purposes, and it being offered in a size with a longer cord. You really have to be sitting right next to your modem box to use this.
