I have a ultrabook which does not have that port to connect a ethernet cable, which is fine for most people with WiFi but mine then to be slow and choppy at times so I got this so I could connect the ethernet which works very well.

Great price but I should have checked the speed. Didn't think about a gigabit adapter. But this worked just fine

This is a nice little usb to ethernet adapter, my only criticism would be that although it does include a small cd with software and drivers it was difficult to locate the proper drivers online.

I bought this device as our network card went bad. It works way better than I anticipated it too. It’s definitely worth the money if you have a bad network card.

I could not get windows 10 to allow FULL internet WiFi access on my new laptop at home. So I hard wired it to my modem. With this USB attachment and some cable line purchased separately. Worked instantly!

Easy set up, all in one like a Mac so no tower to contend with. Perfect size with large monitor. replaced a laptop for a larger screen. Wireless mouse and keyboard makes for ease of use.

Works as advertised. The instructions said you needed to use the included CD to install a driver, but I was able to use without installing any software.

A new inexpensive computer didn’t accept a standard Ethernet cable so this worked perfectly by plugging into a USB port. This was a quick and cost effective fix.

Great product to use for direct hard wiring to check internet use with Ethernet cable. Can be used with Mac book should you have the adaptor.

My computer does not have an ethernet input so when I had some problems with my computer and I needed tech help they would want me to plug directly into the modem and I could not. NOW I CAN. works Great.

It has been easy to install and helped with our internet signal. With wifi it kept freezing up and spinning. Connecting to this helped that problem greatly!

The Adapter itself is great, the review is about the store, the product had recently been returned by someone so it was sold as open box at a discount price. The problem was that there were 2 different price stickers on the box, one for 12.99 and the other was 9.99, of course I assumed me "IE" the customer should get the item for 9.99 after all it wasn't my fault it was in error. As I went to check out the cashier asked for a assistant mgr I guess, he said Oh no, the price is 12.99 I said it should be 9.99 after all the customer is always right or so it goes. but unfortunately for me I had to pay the 12.99 price, So I shall stay clear of Best Buy for now.

I use this device for my Microsoft Surface computer, which doesn't have an ethernet port. This works extremely well, and the driver was easy to install.

This is one of those handy little adapters that you never have when you actually need it. So, I bought one and it does what it is supposed to do! No issues with it at all.

I needed to conect a printer straight to my computer but i use my ethernet port for internet since it's faster with the cable so this gave me a 2nd port and it worked just fine.

After our internet went down and I had narrowed the problem to either the network card or modem we chose to replace this 1st and it works with no software update on windows 10. So easy to use.

When you only have USB on your laptop and you need to hardline to a next work. Because mac has their own way of doing things you have to have adapters to do everything else. Worked great.
