I bought this ethernet adapter for my MacBook Pro laptop which does not have an ethernet connection port. This ethernet adapter does the job and works well.

Some places still do not offer free wifi but corded only. Weird but this gets me out of a non internet jam. Works awesome. Pulled 500mbps down a few times with it. Can defiantly handle the speed.

This Insignia™ - USB 2.0-to-Ethernet Adapter is just what I needed. I'm running windows 7 and it has slowed down. This sped it up to an acceptable speed. So glad for this.

This works fine for an Ethernet connection, but my computer wouldn’t download at our new gig internet speeds with this—only around 100 megs. Also, it is tricky to find the driver if you don’t have a cd rom drive. I think the speeds this delivers are standard for this type of 2.0 USB device, but the packaging was misleading and suggested it was faster than it really is. I have both Apple and Microsoft computers so returned this for a thunderbolt version that delivered gig speed!

Great adapter for an option to hardwiring towers and lets us take laptops home.

This was a gift for my daughter in college. We bought her a computer that did not have a network cable. It gives her the speeds that we were expecting and access to the Internet should desperately needed.

First, I'm certain others will have success where I didn't. Still, I purchased this to provide live TV from my 4K laptop (it has updated streaming TV apps) to my 2014 Smart HDTV. I discovered I needed a CD player to upload the product's driver S/W, a peripheral my laptop lacks. There's no option to download a driver from the web. That said, it's a clean design, had the needed bandwidth, and again, is likely fine with the right hardware. Downloadable drivers next time please.

We bought this product for use with a new Chromebook we purchased for a friend. He does not have a wireless connection, so this adapter solves that problem and allows him to connect to the Internet with ease.

Inexpensive way to use USB for ethernet 10/100, but not gigabit 1000. It works fine and you probably won't need the software drivers that come with it. Just plug and web away.

This was a great adapter we used to connect our MacBook to an external monitor. Very easy to use and seamless connection.

Works awesome.. speed is consistent and high. The cable is sturdy and connects properly. Like I said, there is no speed drop compared to connecting lab direct.

Had product for a while now, got it see how fast speed on laptop would be connected directly to router, speed was a little better.
