Sadly, wireless routers just can't deliver the speeds that you crave. This adapter enables devices like thin laptops to take advantage of a LAN connection. The price performance on this adapter was the best in my research.

I bought this for my Apple Air and it's easy to use and enables me to hook up an Ethernet cable to my laptop. I was seeing other comparable products for much more money and this does the trick for a fraction of the cost.

Amazing product, I used this because I only had one Long Ethernet and one short cable to use for my PC and PS5, so I connected the long one into my pc, then the usb part into my pc plugged the Ethernet into the Ethernet port from the adapter into my ps5 and bridged the connection and it worked wonders.

From time to time I go somewhere where I need to use an Ethernet cable but my Surface Pro 3 does't have a slot for one ... this solved that problem for me. Easy to use and small enough to pack for travel.

I have a Surface Pro 3 and it doesn't have a slot for an Ethernet cable so this will take care of that. I won't need it very often so it is small enough to keep in my bag for when I do need it.

WiFi can sometimes suck. Physical connections are fast and reliable, and this fills a void that many entry level laptops lack — an Ethernet port! Good price.

I purchased this so I could hook up my laptop to an ethernet cord. Never thought I'd need such a thing when I got this PC but had the need recently so I purchased this adapter. It works, the internet is faster when on Ethernet and not competing for space on the router. I wouldn't imagen a lot of people need something like this now days but I was glad it was available and am very pleased with the fact that it works. Plug one end into the PC the other to the ethernet cord and bam it is working.

So many laptops don't have ethernet ports any more but this takes care of that problem. If I can hard wire into a router I'll choose that over wireless connection every time. But ever since I bought my expensive, fancy Dell laptop I couldn't do that because, guess what, my fancy, expensive Dell laptop didn't have an ethernet port. Since most computers have a USB port or two or three, seems like you might as well use one for the ethernet port.

As soon as I connected it to my laptop it worked immediately and improved internet throughput drastically compared to my WiFi connection. No driver installation was required. I would recommend this to anyone who has a newer laptop without a built in Ethernet port. There may be faster connections with a USB 3 adapter but this gives me the max 100 MB throughput I pay for without a problem. If you need faster and can install drivers, try the USB 3 adapter if you have a USB 3 port.
