Kept getting slow downs and losing connection on the Wi-Fi. Since we are wired for ethernet from the olden days picked this up to use with new slim laptop that has no port. Since the Laptop has only 2 USB need to pick up a port replicator to have enough USB ports to handle everything. Maintains a good wired connecton.
