was glad to see my local Best Buy had this product as I needed it right away. store clerk said they didn't have any, but when I looked, they had an entire bin of these devices - so its best to check yourself for specialty devices

Bought the adapter for my MacBook Air. I travel for work and certain hotels I stay at have a weak wireless signal, but offer wired internet access in the hotel rooms. Great option for my MacBook Air when the wireless signal is weak.

I wasn't sure what I needed and the Geek Squad figured it out for me. Found the "gadget", explained how to use it and sent me on my way. Got home followed their instructions and was up & running in no time. They are the BEST!

I bought to use for my Nintendo switch, as it was on sale due to open box. Couldn't return it. The employee said it would. I can't ding the product for that, but I also don't know if it works at all.

I bought it in BestBuy to transfer my files. It is easy to set up. However, it didn't transfer all my files. I have over 50 GB of files. So, you may lose some files, and maybe not.

Since my Surface tablet doesn't come with an ethernet port, this handy connector solves that problem. All I have to do is plug it into the USB on the table then plug in the CAT5 cable and I'm good to go.

My on-board NIC failed, so I needed something right away. Oddly, the store does not sell any add on "cards" anymore. This USB solution worked. Then I mail ordered a 1G card I'll keep this one around at the office as a good backup.

Product works well to replace a faulty internal ethernet adapter with an easily installed USB adapter. Had to install the drivers from the CD but was not difficult. I would say difficulty was above novice but not expert level.

This has been a perfect device to use on my Best Buy Toshiba laptop computer to connect internet service. Best Buy employee was most helpful after I explained my use or need.
