Item was a gift for my grandson who didn’t have enough ports in the modem. This adapter allowed him to use a USB port for his Ethernet connection and not miss a beat.

I am old school, so I have direct line into my computer for Internet. Imagine my surprise when my new computer did not have a plug in for my Ethernet. This little device saved me!

The Insignia USB ethernet adapter works great. A simple, straightforward adapter you plug into and you're ready to go. I would have given it 5 stars if the cable were a little longer.

Purchased to connect new laptops that do not have network connectivity other than WiFi and we have used it on at least three computers for added speed when setting up the computer.

Great adapter that I used to be able to voice chat using my laptop as my connect point to my xbox to be able to talk to my friends.

This ethernet adapter to USB works well with the computer it is connected to. Note it is 2.0 version. The price wasfairfor the product.

It does the job. I mean what else can you expect from a device like this one right? After almost a year it keeps working fine. It was the cheapest option and I have no regrets with it.

I wanted my gogogate2 to be wired instead of wireless. This USB to ethernet adapter did the job just fine. Since the gogogate2 does not need speed I chose the slower version of the adapter.

I used it inline to connect a new laptop to an older network printer. Could have done that a few ways, but this does not need a power source and works in line taking up no desk space.

Not much else to expect from USB 2.0 to ethernet. It just works. Used to facilitate file transfer and setup up hard connections for router.

I've used Insignia USB adapters in the past and never disappointed. Plug it in, wait 20 seconds and you've got another NIC available. Throughput is no issue at all.

No issues with this ethernet adapter. It fix the issue of my laptop not having a port for the ethernet cable. The wifi stopped working all of the sudden.

The Geek Squad recently helped us with our older Samsung PC. It needed several things cleaned up and this adapter was one of their suggestions as we had a bad port.

My laptop came without an RJ45 connector so this low cost adapter fit the need when I don't want to be on WIFI and need the extra security I want by using a wire to connect to the internet.
