Pro's - fast and does what it is designed for with no trouble. Lightweight. Cons - a little pricey I think. Would love to have gotten it for 10 instead of 15. Gets a bit warm after about 15 minutes of use. But don't really see where that hurts anything. Just something I noticed.

This item is a lifesaver. I needed an adapter for my ethernet cable because I work from home and need to be directly connected to the internet. My ethernet port stopped working on my lap top and I quickly bought this device to connect. Works perfectly!

I bought a cheap laptop & did nto notice it did nto have a port for Ethernet. Tada this plugs righ into one of the usd outs & can connect up right away. did nto have to download stuff to get it to work great solution for $20.00

i mean there really isn't much to say. Its an adapter for laptops missing the port. It does what its supposed to do. Not nearly as fast as a dedicated connection but it works just fine. I wouldn't game on it though.

Most new computers don't come with ethernet ports anymore and well sometimes you would just rather be wired up. This product makes that possible. Worked how it should and didn't notice any performance differences from an on board ethernet adapter. Would recommend.

Honestly considering it's not advertised to work on the Switch and the Answer's page on Best Buy's website has someone who said that it wouldn't work, I can now confirm that it won't work on the Nintendo Switch, but again it works great on my Surface Pro, so I'd say 4/5, works as intended.

This little device allowed me to connect my laptop to my modem/router for initial home network setup. In the old days laptops had Ethernet ports on the back. Nowadays, the primary ports are USB. This adapter does the trick.

the wifi at a friend's home was terrible, nothing like my own. I noticed he had an ethernet connection, my laptop did not have a connection, the Insignia adapter worked wonders to stop dropping the connection. I was so happy to be able to reach the internet

I ordered this dongle after watching Liron Segev on Youtube. Using this to run your ethernet cable into the USB port on a smart tv you can increase the speed.

I have a MacBook Pro and I had difficulty setting this up. Someone left a review with a link to where to download the software and then it worked perfectly. The disc it came with did not work at all.

Needed this adapter for use with my Macbook Pro. It doesn't work with it because Apple messed up and my MBP cannot use ethernet anymore. Used on a Windows machine and it works perfectly though, and does it's job.

Best Buy had a good price on this item. I felt that Zoom meetings were not working well for me with a wireless connection in my building. This adapter improved my connectivity and eliminated dropped meetings.

I purchased this to use with my MacBook and did not realize that you had to have a CD drive to use this product. Works really well with my boyfriends computer but make sure that you have an external disk drive if you want to use this.

Use these to connect laptops to Allen bradley PLC's after the Ethernet port on the laptop was not functioning due to abuse in the factory. Works great, did have to set the device with its own IP to get it to work.....took some trial and error to figure out.
