Excellent device, use it for my micro SD card for my drone. This is a simple device and the only things that matter are as follows: The device shows up instantly in windows when plugged in to pc usb port. The file transfers are extremely fast. I take >2gb videos with drone and the transfer time from card to hdd is less than 30 seconds.

USB 3.0 (not 2.0), small size, good price ... what's not to like?

As I mention in another BB review for an SD card, I sent my mother some large files (photos) via SD card through "snail mail" because it was the most logistically efficient thing to do at the time. To sweeten the deal, I also sent her this card reader, which apparently saved the day--she said she had been using a printer to access flash storage cards, but for some reason that suddenly quit working, and this handy-dandy device came to the rescue. May have something to do with the fact that she's using Macs, I don't know, but I CAN tell you that this Insignia Memory Card reader DID work on her Mac! So there you go. Get you one.

Not only does what it says it does, it's fast, simple, and just what I needed. New computer didn't have an SD card slot built in, no matter with this little inexpensive device. Copied around 5 GB worth of data from an SD card to my hard drive, seemed like it took barely a few minutes. Most pleased!

this is a great little card reader detined to travel far and wide. worked like a charm right out of the box! support both w10 and chromebook and works quickly. Only tried using with google photos sp far but expect it will work as decribed in the documents.

Love this product from Insignia, especially as it's USB 3.0. I like that it is straight USB connect rather than a cable connect, no dangling bits. Product is typical Insignia build, hardy. Have had no issues with premature failure, and unit has not failed to read a card. Good purchase, especially when on sale.

This is a simple USB micro SD card reader. My new gaming computer did not come with a CD-ROM drive or a card reader so I needed something to read cards from my phones or my car dash cam. This works great with my Windows 10 PC. I am able to place my dash cam SD card in this adapter and review or save video. No drivers were needed.

This adapter works great for my Galaxy S9. It is easy to transfer video and pictures from my camera so I can have them on my phone. Simple design and works perfectly. With your Galaxy S9, you have to keep the adapter that came in the box with your phone so you can plug the USB portion into your device

Got so tired of having to remove the internal card in and out of my phone just to plug it into my PC. This device allows you to simply plug it into the USB on your PC and transfers files super fast! Best of all I can use my DLSR's card in it along with a micro SD. Awesome product!

I use this item mostly for pictures. I insert a memory card and plug it into the USB 2 or USB3 slot. It read quick and I love the upgraded cap that is attached via bungie cord. You'll never lose the cap. I had a previous memory stick reader in the past and this one is the best! My old "Insignia" lasted me for years before I physically lost it.

As a realtor I take a lot of PictionaryAir SD cards and I didn’t have a way to view them on my MacBook Air. I called Apple and was told about this adapter and for a few dollars this came to the rescue. It’s the perfect size works wonderfully nicely made.

Very nice , very fast card reader. Bought two in order to transfer between to micro SD cards as well as for use on cards used in cameras and drones. Well worth the money spent. Costs less than other micro SD cards and works as well if not better.

This Insignia Card Reader is a terrific gadget and perfect when 'on the go' as it's quick and easy to download your photographs onto your laptop (without the hassle of having to connect your camera to your laptop, etc). It's also useful just to store all your photographs in an orderly way.

It's a card reader - park it in a USB slot and add SD or microSD cards to your heart's content - quick enough for USB 3.0 but don't expect SSD speeds. Instantly recognized on numerous computers in my house and zero issues!

I needed something for usb 3.0 and this met my expectations transferring almost 50mb per sec with class 10 microsd card. Much better than USB 2.0 and the cover did not break off upon package opening. I love how I don't need extra USB cable which is why I got this in first place.
