I like uploading pics on social media so this really helps me a lot. It speeds up everything. Just take out the memory card and stick it in this ting bam you’re all set. No need for that long wire to connect to the camera. Saves you time and space. Very cool invention if you ask me.

I bought this to use with my computers that didn't have built in SD and micro SD card readers. It was able to handle large file transfers at fast speeds thanks to the USB 3.0 spec. My only complaint is the the cap is annoying to use and seems like it would break easy. I would have much preferred a traditional hinge or slider rather than the thin piece of silicone. It gets in the way, and is actually harder to align properly when putting the cap back on.

I bought this because the slot on my computer for SD did not make reliable contact. This product worked great. I use it every day and it has not failed me. Glad I made the choice. I bought one for my neighbor also because she was having the same problems.

I needed a memory card reader for my MacBook with no memory card port. I picked this up so I could get photos from a work party uploaded to my computer for editing. This reader worked so well! It not only read all of the files quickly, but everything transferred smoothly with no difficulty.

With USB 3.0, this card reader is perfectly sized and handy to have around or on the go for those of you who don't have SD cards or MicroSD card slots, fast writing speeds with use of a USB 3.0 slot on your PC, doesn't get in the way of anything either. Love it.

I have a new laptop that doesn’t have an SD card reader. I was away from home (so not near my desktop) taking a bunch of unplanned pictures with SLR camera and needed to offload them. I grabbed this at a local store and it worked great. Small, simple, and easy to toss in my camera bag for future use.

Great price and works well. I like the small size and mobility of it. Had considered a more expensive and larger component but did not seem worth it in my opinion. No problems with data transfer speeds on my desktop.

Love this item. When I was looking I had another reader in mind, but the price and small form factor is what I needed. I do video editing and this makes it more useful to plug into my computer when I need to edit on the fly. Definitely well-made and super portable.

I bought this to work with a new laptop which does not have a memory card reader at all. It's a good solution. This unit does the job, fits in the laptop bag or camera bag, and handles both SD cards and micro SD. It worked the first time and every time, no problems.

If you are on the move, toting around weight to transfer data just makes that data more heavy to transfer. This little package does the work of an elephant with the body and power of something much smaller. Get one and leave the big beasts at home. Better yet, get two!!!!!

With my computer setup, the card reader is in front of me and just under the monitor. Very easy access. I sit down, pop in my SD card, and download pictures, documents or whatever, then format if wanted-needed. Has not failed and has been used in two different desktops with similar results. All good.

Bought this to accommodate different sized memory cards from cameras and go pros. It works as advertised, simply pop in your memory card and insert the USB into a laptop and you're good to go. No software to install, your pictures and videos will just show up in your photos.

They are not kidding when they say it is durable. It is. Really solid and well made, not like a lot of the other pieces of thin plastic I've seen lately. I like the the cover attached with the tether. Never know when you need 2 memory cards to transfer files. I needed it today!

The product works great. Unfortunately, the removable cap is attached with a flimsy connector that broke literally as I was opening the package. Be careful of that connector and you should be fine.

When I found my new computer’s SD card slot was for the smaller cards and my camera uses the larger SD cards, I purchased this one. I first used it yesterday and it was so easy to use! It’s a great card reader, especially for the price.

Works absolutely perfect at a great price. The SD port in my laptop stopped working and this was a great alternative to be able to process photos from my astrophotography rig

Bought this thing because I had an SD card get stuck in my laptop's card reader... Unlike the reader in my laptop, when the card is inserted in the reader that half of it is still exposed, making it virtually impossible for it to get stuck. It does its job very well....buy one if you need a card reader
