Being able to hook the Either net cable with a new slim computer without an either net connection really helps. With a slow internet speed I need all the help I can get. This adapter has allowed me to receive internet and emails easier and better than with just using the WIFI from the router. Thank you.

Wired connections have more consistent speed and much lower latency. This can be especially important when playing online games or using video conferencing apps. This little adapter makes it simple and reliable to avoid the dreaded Wi-Fi whenever possible.

Works well enough for laptop or desktop computer, Ethernet connection is recognized right away after initial plug in. Adapter does tend to get hot after being connected for an extended period of time. Device is not recognized by the Nintendo Switch.

I used this product with an adapter for the new MacBooks that just have USB-C and it worked excellently. Software installation was a thing I had to do which, in this era of supreme convenience, was a bummer but it was only minimally troublesome. Definitely worth trying because you can always return it!

Could not get a green light with Enet cable on MB connection to Netgear Network extender using an Enet port. The Insignia USB3-Enet got an immediate green light and has worked excellently! I have 6 USB3 ports on my desktop so using 1 port for Enet is OK. Great product and worked as advertised. I will buy more as the need arises.

This product is great so that I can be able to hook up my ethernet cable to my USB laptop to connect the 2 to go online wired if the wireless connection goes down. I would highly recommend this!

Now that laptops come with like NO ports at all (JK, but seriously, the new MacBooks only have USB-C??). Thankfully I have a couple USB ports on my laptop. I use one to get wired Ethernet. Just plug it in and Windows ten goes to work to get my on a wired network/Internet connection.

This product is exact to its' description. This is useful for computers that do not have an ethernet port i.e. Chromebooks(which were provided by the school district). I recommend this product! Especially if you cannot set up wifi in your home

I wasn't worried when my new laptop didn't come with an ethernet port. I'd hardly ever used the last one. Turns out sometimes you need it for tech support. The software for the gigabit adaptor installs quickly, and there are no settings to tinker with. Basically, plug it in & go.

I did not know this is the little device I needed to connect my microphone directly to my wifi and it made life so much easier while recording remotely into my clients studio. It is exactly what I needed and does the job!

I don't think I've seen a dedicated tablet with a LAN port, so this guy is a real lifesaver for when you have to diagnose network issues. The price is right, too. By the way, don't buy the ASUS rt-n66r. Thanks to this adapter, I was able to determine that the router was the issue in my string, and not my ISP.

You just plug it in and go. It makes my laptop a little bit faster as compared to using the wifi. Not something that i really need for my laptop I can use WiFi for most things but this makes it a little bit faster. Works good.

I had a need where I needed a laptop to have two Ethernet connections. One to an instrument connected via Ethernet, and the second to a standard Ethernet network connection to the company network. This USB to Ethernet adapter fits the bill and works perfectly.

This ethernet to USB made connecting my home wifi to my laptop very easy. As a work from home job required to be hard connected and not through wifi. And when I saw my laptop no longer has a ethernet port I panicked till I found this connector, life saver.

The network adapter card went out in my son's gaming PC. I was worried this wouldn't live up to the speeds the card allowed, but we are surprisingly grateful for the ethernet adapter!! Extremely easy setup and no connection issues related to the adapter.

I was concerned that adding this adapter might cause (some) slowdown in connection speeds and hoped that this item was truly capable of up-to-gigabit speeds. I was pleasantly surprised. Great product for the price!

Good price. This does the job. My wifi connection at work had been removed due to construction around the new facility. I purchased this and I'm very happy with it. Cheap. Plug and play. Instant access to my employer's network.
