    I have only tried this with an Asus C302 Chromebook. Pairs nicely for HDMI video and sound. It also supports usb mice and thumbdrives. Cons- my Asus c302 has 2 USB-C ports but only one of them registers the insignia adapter. I do not know how this compares to other USB c- HDMI/USB adapters but this one works well.

    Purchased this item along with a monitor. Started working from home almost 2 years ago. I had an apple one provided by work that went with my MacBook Pro for work but wanted to have a personal one for when I have to return my work equipment. This one was super affordable compared to the apple one and has the same function. I would definitely recommend.
