    I bought this thinking I would be able to transfer photos easily from this device to our laptop. This isn’t the case and it is better using the cloud for this type of thing. But overall the product does allow for a HDMI to be plugged in or usb for other devices.

    Bought this to connect a second monitor to my iMac that I recently bought to work from home. It's pretty simple design that you can use both USB and HDMI connections, plus still use the fire wire. I'm awaiting the arrival of the monitor, so I've not installed this to the iMac as of yet. Seems the COVID-19 virus has slowed delivery.

    I brought this item to stream my movies from my Samsung S9+ to my television and it works great. The charger port doesn't allow me to charge my phone and mirror my tv at the same time.

    Similar to the Apple adapters, but I like the lower price. I've had no issues with this adapter. Works as intended, and with the lower price, I give it 5 stars. Some knock-offs like this often come with reduced functionality. This is a pretty basic device. No known difference in quality or function that I've noticed.
