This is a Swiss Army knife kind of accessory for my MacBook Pro. Nice to have three of the most common port types in a single adaptor. And while all these kinds of dongles are ridiculously expensive, the price for Insignia is relatively reasonable - especially when getting 3-in-1.

I can run my cell phone or my laptop through my projector with this one adapter . If your files are on the cloud or Carbonite, you can access them on your cell phone and run it on the projector using an Android phone..

Purchased my first MacBook and didn't realize I would need accessories. But this was definitely a lifesaver and a lot cheaper than going to the Apple store. I've purchased Insignia products before and have never been disappointed.

This simple dongle is an invaluable piece if you buy something like a BenQ monitor. Being able to charge your computer and run a monitor with USB pass throughs is a game changer. It frees up having to use multiple USB-C ports.

I need to connect my Surface Go to a TV for working from home, and this was super easy to connect. I just connected this to the surface and the HDMI cable did the rest. There are additional ports but I haven't had the need for it. Great Buy!

I am So glad I bought this. I am using it to add a tv monitor onto my laptop for virtual teaching. I also am able to add a separate hard drive which my husband got me. AND the cord for my wireless mouse to plug into for charging.

Now days the computers are smaller, thinner and the only form of external communication with them are internet and bluetooth. This gadget helps with expanding the use of the CPU by helping them communicate with other things like TV, pen drives and others.

I had no idea what this thing did until I went to a meeting and realized that I couldn’t display to the big screen for my presentation- never again... this little gem is absolutely awesome and works seamlessly. It is truly plug and play.

It does what you need it to. If your laptop doesn't have enough ports you should grab this.

Got this on sale to use with my new Lenovo Chromebook Duet. Everything works and is immediately identified by the chrome OS. Tried the power through - check. USB for memory card/memory stick use - check. HDMI to view expanded desktop on a 27" Dell monitor - check. Only thing I did not verify was a USB mouse. I bought a Microsoft Modern Mobile Bluetooth mouse to save a port (since there's only one on the Duet), so there was no need. No doubt it would also work. Also, my son borrowed this adapter for his MacBook Pro and it worked seamlessly for power and USB mouse. Did not try data transfer. Probably worth the full price if you need it right away...

I thought my new Best Buy monitor failed. So I took my third-party HDMI adapter and my monitor to the Geek Squad. Well, it wasn't the monitor, it was the fairly expensive adapter that blew. So the GS showed me my options and I chose this one. So glad I did. Works like a champ.

I bought this to connect my MacBook Air Pro to my tv for my sisters virtual graduation watch party and it worked perfectly ! Also works great connecting my phone and USB ports.

Recently purchased a laptop to work from home but it unfortunately only had (2) USB-C ports. This adapter allowed me to hook up a wired mouse, connect to a second monitor and utilize the existing USB-C port to connect to our printer.

I purchased this adapter for a laptop that only has USB-C ports and I use it to connect to a 4K HDMI Monitor. It works great straight out of the box with no drivers to install.

I don't absolutely love this adapter, but I use it all the time and think it's well worth the money. It reads as it should for USB ports onto a MAC computer, and fits snug into any of the bolt ports. Needless to say, it does its job.

New computer only had one usb port. Now I have a way to add additional monitor with HDMI port and a place to add wacom tablet for photo shop, and charge my phone at the same time!

This is a great added tool for the iPad. You might be able to do things wireless but I'm not that technical to figure out sometimes. I just plug this into my iPad and plug a USB or HDMI into it to plug it to my tv mainly.

This works great assuming your device is compatible. Originally, I got this for my wife's laptop to add a 2nd monitor but its USB Type C was not compatible. It did work just fine on my laptop though.

perfect for new macbook pro....just got my husband a new laptop and he carries it everywhere so this adapter is small and gets him a USB and HDMI which he uses the most.

I almost bought the Apple version of this, then found the Insignia version around the corner in the store. I'm really glad I did. It is really convenient having the ability to charge my laptop, connect to a monitor and have a USB connected, and only taking up one slot on my MBP.
