Very good addition for very slim laptops. You can connect 3 different devices to this multi-port adapter.

I recently replaced my previous generation MacBook Pro with a MacBook Air. My accessories for my old Pro were based on the lightning port so I need something to be able to connect with the new USB-C ports on the Air. This is a nice product and comes with a single USB 2 port, an HDMI port, and an additional USB-C port which can be used as a power pass through or for additional USB-C devices.

cable bill too high? get one. want to watch movies away from home on a larger screen? get one. getting serious about going truly unplugged? get one. want to watch tv when cable or dish is down? get one. movies on my phone, streaming or downloaded are played in my RV without anything extra when darkness or the weather keeps you in. get one.

Purchased this, as I needed an adapter, but did not really want to spend more than $100 on the Apple branded ones. This was recommended to me by an associate, so I tried it figuring I could at least bring it back if it did not work... Well, surprise me - it works and works great. Just plug and play, no fuss, no mess. Used it on several different Macs and all have been flawless. Saved me $$$ over the "Apple" brand adapaters. Will purchase again.

Only knocked a star off because there are cheaper alternatives online if you only need part of the I/O this offers but I needed an adapter same day and got this one. Works as I expected, sometimes I have to replug the HDMI to get it initially recognized but that's likely on my laptops end not the adapters. No drivers needed just plug-n-play.

I honestly returned this item, I use a MacBook and they are meant to just work better with apple brand devices so if you are picky with subtle flaws I recommend to use the original brand, if you aren't so particular this is a good purchase and cheaper than the apple brand, but mostly it worked fine.

I purchased this Smart Stylus along with the Lenovo Yoga laptops I purchased for my sons to use at college. We played around with it when they first got their laptops but I'm not certain how useful it will be going forward. I was hoping they would use the stylus to take notes in class while having the Yoga in tablet mode. Not certain that will happen yet. Definitely worth the price if you're a creative power user but may be expensive for just taking notes.

Very easy to use. Connects easily and the ports seem to work very well. You get to keep the USB C port open because it add one to make up for the one it tis using. Older products with older style of USB can now be used with your Apple Air. I have not tried the HDMI, but it touts 4k to use on presentations.

I purchased this adapter to connect my 32 Acer 4K monitor to my Microsoft Surface Book 3 and it works great. If you are using just 1 external monitor and it is 4k this adapter is well designed and is priced appropriately. I will also be buying one for my granddaughter to connect her surface laptop for remote schooling.

I mean, it’s a cord adaptor that does what it is supposed to do so I guess I can’t get too excited about it but it is almost half the price as the official Apple version so that’s something, I guess. Never had an issue, No clue why you would spend almost 80.00 from Apple to plug in an HDMI cord when this is available. Works just as well.

I have a 12inch MacBook and a ThinkPad X-1 Carbon. Both are very nice, and while this accessory is a must for any Mac laptop, I've found time when I've used this with the ThinkPad as well (even thought the ThinkPad has plenty of ports. Once you have one you'll be surprised how much you use it, as it takes the place of other dongles.

I went to BB to get a simple USB-A to USB-C adapter. This item (which is BB's private label brand), does that and more (for not that much more cost than a regular adapter. The addition of a 4K HDMI adapter with power delivery is a nice add-on to have.

Best little extra adapter I have every purchased. I didn't realize what that little hole next to the power plug on my laptop was. Bought this by mistake; however, it turned out to be the best purchase. Able to hook up wireless keyboard, extra monitor and a mouse.

Easy to use and has not lost connection at all during use. Actually bought it to another adapter I purchased for $90 (and lost, thankfully?) Was able to find this the cheaper alternative and much happier because the more expensive one was very easy to disconnect.

I have been using it for over 5 month now with my MacBook Pro , no issues at all. and even used the usb connection to connect to usb hub and it worked flawlessly. while using HDMI. but if you want to connect a lot of hard drive you have to make sure to connect the power adapter of the laptop so it will have enough power to support multiple hard drives with HDMI.

This saved me countless lost minutes per day unplugging onetime to plug up another and then have to do it all over again on my Mac Book. Now it looks like I need one for my Lenovo work computer to eliminate the same time management problem. It was well worth the cost.

The multiport adapter allows me to use multiple screens while I am on road. Something that improves my out-of- office travel efficiency. Have been able to use in a variety of locations. Just an adapter and an HDMI cable is all I need to carry.

Needed this to transfer pictures off my new MacBook Pro with Touch Bar since they no longer have a USB port it's a hassle when you want to get pictures onto your laptop. This worked like a dream, couldn't be easier even if not computer literate! Wish it had an SD card port that's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars
