This was a quick way for me to connect my new monitor. I needed something quick and couldn't see myself needing a docking station just yet. Did the trick and saved some money at the same time.

I get an HDMI, USB, and a USB-C charging port. They work perfectly. Allows my MacBook to connect to my external monitor or tv while charging.

Lifesaver to have all of the ports in one place, instead of multiple attachments. For being the store brand it works pretty good.

The adapter is almost required for new macs so you can use your peripheral devices and displays. Works great.

This insignia brand product give you more port than other brands. Plus the cost for it is not expensive. Products works great and I have not have issues.

Easy setup and does what it supposed to do. A adapter for the USB C type for phones that use USB standard plugs would have got a 5th star.

Apple always seems to be getting rid of standard features (e.g. headphone jack.) This HDMI port is great for adding options of what to do with your iPad. I wasn't able to connect my tv through the hdmi port but I think it's because my tv is a bit old by today's standards. I love having the usb feature for connecting devices which in my case is a midi keyboard controller / piano. I hear you can also import files via usb which is a nice feature. Hopefully apple doesn't make it too difficult to export. Overall, If you need additional ports. This is good to have!

Had to work from home and this came as a great tool to hook up my headphones and monitor to my laptop. Worked great never had a problem

I am still giving this item 5 stars because it still performs as advertised and it is a good product, I just did not do the proper research as a customer to make sure the product truly fit my needs.

Rarely gets any use, as I bought it to use with my Samsung Galaxy Book and LG projector. Found after the fact the the LG projector is capable of connecting to the Galaxy Book wirelessly. If you are considering it for use with a device that only has USB-C, and no HDMI outputs, check your devices to see if you really need this, or if as in my case you can connect your devices wirelessly. On the few occasions that I have used it, it performed as expected.

I need a HDMI converter to connect my MAC to my TV and was able to pick this USB on clearance. It works perfect! There's additional ports I can use besides HDMI.

This adapter was a good deal! It has helped me connecting the HDIM cable to display on the TV on my new tablet and charge it at the same time.

Used to create a docking station for MacBook Air. Let me connect external monitor keyboard and mouse along with power. Worked great.

I’ve tried other units but this secures properly, and all ports can function simultaneously. The others I have tried do not allow charging while using HDMI or USB.
