Don't waste your time

One of them began to heavily distort the image of my display (not permanently damaging), and the other plain did not connect a signal. Tried the connection with a separate DP cord and it worked out alright. I have had many issues with these Insignia brand connectors with both mac and dell computers for various applications. Don't waste your time, buy from somewhere else.

Does NOT work with a Mac Mini M4 2024

It appears there is an incompatibility between this adapter and whatever displayport version the new Mac Mini uses. Unsatisfied with the product since it simply does not work for my application.

I was looking for this cable for hours and at bestbuy and all those lazy workers and even a manager said they don’t have anything with a display port to usb-c. Or a display port to mini display port. They kept telling me to use an hdmi. After finding 6 different types of plugs in store and online I told a manager and he acted like he didn’t even care. A seasonal worker that was doing go backs and stocking was way more helpful then some of the employees there. I’ll think twice next time I need something from the Rancho bestbuy.

It will just stay at a blank screen and Oculus will claim its not connected to a DisplayPort. I only got this expensive piece of crap because I thought it would work as a VR adapter. I want a refund and to sue that guy for false advertising.
