Won't work with 2021 MacBook Pro to Dell monitor

When connected, there is no display. No idea what the problem it and finally bought a single line of Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to DisplayPort and it works great.

I was trying to connect two external monitors (ViewSonic), using two of these connectors, but there was no luck. I had to return them. I cannot speak in terms of of using them for a Windows based system, but this rating is specifically for the usage on a mac.

(Worked in 2 seperate laptops). A powered dell usb c dock did not work correctly, it gave a scrambled picture on the bottom half of the oculus display. This brought back my old rift s that was collecting dust

However, there are some things that you need to keep in mind if you’re going to use this adapter with any kind of USB-C Thunderbolt 3.0 port. - Look at your device’s USB-C port and see if it has a DP logo next to it to indicate it’s DP Alt Mode compatible. - Refer to your device manufacturer to see if any of your USB-C ports are DP-AM compatible. (In my case, Razer’s website tells you that if it does not have a DP, then their USB-C ports are compatible with DP-AM) If they aren’t compatible, at least with an Index, it will not function properly. It has to have DP Alt Mode compatibility, which is where a lot of people run into their issues! Make sure you know!
