It does what it's supposed to! At least, in my case. The driver/connection is sometimes buggy with windows but it doesn't cause any actual problems when using it.

That 5 star review was meant to apply to this product. NOTE: The Belkin USB-C to Gigabit Ethernet works nicely for connecting my 2019 MacBook Pro laptop to an Ethernet port in my home network, and also deserves 5 stars.

Although I purchased this adaptor as open box item, it works very well as of today. The wire of the adaptor itself is not long, but it is not a problem for me since the wire from the screen is long enough.

Do this. It's easy. It works. PC's, laptop, whateva. Coordinates with my USB-C-Ehternet dongle. Like two peas in a pod.

Reason I use the dvi cable is bc HDMI does not pull the full potential of monitor. Happy with the product so far.
