    If you're in a pinch and can't find a USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 cable, then this is fine. However, I highly recommend spending your money on a cable that has USB-C on one end and connects to a DisplayPort 1.4 port on the other. This way, you eliminate the middleman, that is, this adapter, and just connect straight to the source. Also, this thing stopped working after 3 months of use. Not sure why I didn't even touch it.
