Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've never liked the dangling adaptors but those that are flush become loose, and get shorted out at the connection port, so I tried an Insignia brand with the cord-- it did the same thing after a few months. I have not looked into the warranty yet. Going from my prior experience, I was hesitant on purchasing this adaptor for my iPad but it was on sale/open box. Although this version has fewer ports, aside from an ethernet connection (which I never use) my MacBook pro has the others so it's not a big concern, it feels more solidly built and lighter. Hopefully this will reduce tension at the port connection and will last more than a few months.

Mandatory accessory purchase for a MacBook

It works just fine. I also use the adapter for other accessories. The only thing that I would have done differently is purchased an adaptor with more ports.

It works great and especially like the extra usb-c port to plug in the power supply so you don’t run out of power while watching a movie!

Perfect!!!
