I use this to transfer photos from my dslr to my computer. Many new computers do not come equipped with a SD card reader. This device works great and offers quick download speeds.

Exactly What I was looking for

My new desktop computer does not have a built in card reader. I needed one so that I can transfer photos from my cameras on to the computer. I like the fact that it takes multiple card formats. I have a couple of older cameras that use CF cards, and this reader is set up for that.
