    I bought this reader because my new laptop doesn't have a slot for reading memory cards. It works very well ant the transfer rate is very good. The cord is roughly two feet long which allows you to put it anywhere on your desktop. Highly recommend this Insignia memory card reader

    Exactly what I was looking for! I had an SD card for my camera and couldn't find a small adapter to hook to my phone so the digital pictures were viewable (on a screen larger than my camera!).
