Cables come and go from your life. There was a cheap threaded XLR cable that I used for connect an audio interface to a microphone 20 years ago. It is now worn, crackly, withered, and emitting a strange smell and an intermittent hum. I don't think repair is possible, but I still keep it close for nostalgia even though I no longer use it. It was my lesson not to purchase cheap things. However this review is not about that cable. It is about the USB Adapter cable from Insignia (NS-PA3C3A). As time has progressed, things are done now more with USB cables. This short adapter doing from standard USB to USB-C looks very robust. The housing is firm and the cable itself is threaded. The connection points seem very well secured. I'm using it with an iPad and it really works well and fits snugly at the connection point. I've plugged it in several times since my purchase. Good cables are worth it but please be kind to them and they will last for many years if not a lifetime. Best of luck on your cable adventures.

Sometimes you need that adapter for USBC on newer devices and sometimes you don't want something plugged in directly due to space - get this cable. Tough outer construction, fits well with little wiggle, short enough to get connections out of your way. Older tech, meaning USB, is still viable but not all never devices have USB, and for the price and durability, this is the fix.

Does as intended! It plugs in great and doesn't slip off. Strong and thick, cannot break from bending so easily. Works pretty well.

You can never have too many adapters! It’s great to have a laptop with usb c ports but older devices are usb a. This adapter is perfect cause I can use it with a few different kinds of cables and not have to mess with a hub or something like that. The quality of this is great - especially for the price - cool!

The best buy worker actually picked this out for me. I did not know a single thing about this product except that it was an adapter. Did not even see the other options or find out the price before purchasing. I got this for my IPad Air (11in). I needed a product that would connect to the ipad for my printer and other products. At first, I thought the usb for my wireless mouse was not working because a little part of the usb would stick out from the adapter. I almost purchased a new mouse until I thought about testing it out further. I ended up trusting my gut that it was normal for it to stick out a little (thought I would mess it up). Plugged it in and BAM! It works!! I did see the rest of the reviews before posting mine just to triple confirm via images posted (thanks to those who shared images) that it is normal for it to stick out a little. I cannot complaim about the price because reviews all said it was a super item for the cheap price. The length is great for what I need and it feels very sturdy. Overall, happy customer here.

I use it to connect the USB conector for my mouse. Fits snuggly in the USB-C connector of my laptop. It's well built. I have a previous version & have put it in & taken it out when I travel over the past couple of years & it still fits snuggly. The smaller USB to USB-C connectors are too loose while this is perfect.

It's sturdy, it's strong, and it gets the job done. Bonus points for being on sale when I needed it. I would've bought it regardless of the sale, it's quality workmanship in it's production, and I greatly appreciate and value that.

In a world where ports are USB-C on laptops but I own accessories that are still USB, this cable is absolutely necessary. Works great and it's cheaper than replacing all my accessories.

Great adapter. I was able to connect my Seagate external harddrive with no issues. I have a 21 Macbook Pro. Very pleased with product for the price, a lot less expensive than the apple brand one.
