However, after consulting with the BB Geek squad they recommended this product. Works perfectly and I saved $'s which is always helpful when technology changes on big ticket items.

Found it to be just as good as Apple brand

But this adapter has been able to keep the speed up, and it has never ejected the drive(s) without me physically telling it to eject. So the reliability during use is great. Definitely worth the buy and does as well as the Apple version (my husband has a Apple one, and this one is very comparable).

I have two USB C ports and found this adapter. Of course, I don't get USB C transfer speed but the adapter is much cheaper than a hub and it works perfectly.

It transfers data at full speed between my laptop and an external drive. The quality appears to be good, but time will tell of course. I have been using it for about a month now. The price is good as compared to a few similar cables from other manufacturers.
