Knocking 2-stars as it picks up a lot of ambient sound. I thought cardioid mics would "focus" on what is in front of them and lessen the sound from around and behind the mic.

But it's more than adequate to communicate in other circumstances, such as gaming.

It’s a nice housing and easy to use. That said, we bought this at the same time as a Snowball, and this one clearly didn’t sound as good.

There was always loud crackling in the voice overs, and when it picked up my voice during conferences, the sound was tinny and there was also feedback. I attribute all of these problems to this being a cheap mic. Not worth it for me since I need pro-quality audio.

I bought this mic to record radio shows from home. Turns out the mic on my laptop is better. When I told the engineer at KAXE that I was buying this mic, he bought one also. He was disappointed in the "floor noise level".
