With the current situation of working from home and having daily zoom meetings, I found the Insignia microphone to be a huge help. I can easily mute and unmute from the microphone and I can be heard clearly when I speak.

Sound is good when placed about a 12-18" away from your mouth. Way better than the built-in Logitech webcam mics but nowhere near as good as a basic USB headset. I needed to go into windows settings and reduce the mic input to 60% to get the best sound. You want the mic set up so the blue 'mute button' is pointing at your mouth so you will likely have it tilted up at about a 45 degree angle.

The Insignia USB microphone was very easy to setup and connect. It outperforms the web-cam microphone I am using now three times over. The price is far less than professional grade products yet its performance is spot on.

This microphone is everything I needed. It's small, easy to set up, and provides amazing sound for doing voiceovers or developing a lecture.

This is an incredible mic for the price.....If I can say, probably better than most mics that are 50-100% the price of this one. Audio quality is as good as the low-end yeti mics.

My only worry was that the mic might be to low in volume. It was fine. It is a well built stylish mic and it downloaded the drivers automatically and I had it working within 3 minutes on a Window 7 Home Premium comp.

I needed to get a USB microphone to record a tutorial video. Just plug it in and it works without any need to download a driver and the sound quality was great. I highly recommend this microphone.

I had to purchase this for school to narrate PowerPoint projects. I am not tech savvy and this worked easily and sounds great. It sounds better than the audio when I had to use Screencast.

Excellent quality and functionality. Been using it on ZOOM staff meetings. Especially like the mute button on the unit so I don't need to hunt/peck with the mouse. Great value for the price.

The user is partially blind. It is large enough to not require her to get close. She attends meetings, online, and there has never been a complaint from others, about sound quantity.

I got this because my laptop’s onboard mic wasn’t working properly. Setting this up was a breeze and my laptop recognized, and connected to this mic immediately. The sound output is good and it seems to be working fine. I didn’t see any of the problems with the mic jack that other reviewers have noted (though once I plugged the cable into the jack on the back of the unit, I haven’t removed it, so perhaps trying to plug it in repeatedly was what caused their problem). Overall, I’m very satisfied with this unit.

It does the job! For an affordable price, you can enjoy to be like a pro gaming streamer with this mic! My 9 yr nephew has 6 subscribers now on his channel.

The microphone is used for my wife's piano lessons via Zoom. Prior to getting the microphone her students would not hear well or the sound would cut out or even the placement of the computer to pick up the sound was prohibiting clear audio. After getting this microphone it picks up the sound beautifully from the piano and is transmitted clearly to the Zoom participants. It really has made a great difference and can stay put on the piano as well as the computer. The set up was simple...plug and play just like described. My wife is happy with the microphone and her students benefit from its use as well. Thank you Insignia for making a quality product.

Dead simple to setup. Plugged into my Mac and it just worked. Colleagues noted I sounded clearer in zoom meetings. Price was right as well.

I purchased this for my son. He uses it for gaming. His friends can hear him loud and clear. Convenient mute button too!
