Great quality, easy set up

One monitor would always have quality loss and would stutter. However, a wonderful employee took the time to help me find the option I needed. I am so relieved my setup can finally be at its full potential and the pictures on both are amazing.

I am using a laptop but I need dual monitors and the laptop only has one HDMI port but has several USB. I bought this, plugged the monitors in and connected it to the laptop and it works great. Allows you to set up dual monitors for increased workflow.

Struggle To Get It to Work

However, getting the setup done takes some effort and some research. I was installing on a Win11 laptop and it did not find drivers for it. Of course Best Buy doesn't have them so you have to go hunting for them. Turns out this is essentially a StarTech device that is rebranded. Download the StarTech drivers and follow their procedure and it works. I have since updated to an Anker USB-C unit and it works MUCH better.

My only complaint is that the device runs very hot after a long session. To deal with the excessive heat I try to keep the base of the unit hanging off my desk so more surface area is exposed to the air.
