Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.GOOD: (1) Able to get it installed on Windows 10 without using an Admin account; (2) Connection speed seemed decent BAD: (1) After the device was initially plugged into the laptop, the adapter icon disappeared and reappeared several times in "Network Connections". It seem to stabilize after a few minutes, but then after another 10 minutes it disappeared until I unplugged and re-plugged the dongle from the laptop. From my experience, disappearing USB devices seem to generally be caused by hardware/driver conflicts. (2) The RJ45 jack does not make a nice, satisfying "click" when the network cable is plugged in. I tried several different cables, all known to be good, and none of them "clicked" when inserted. (3) I had to insert/remove the network cable several times before the LEDs next to the RJ45 jack turned on. This is probably related to #2 (no click). After I was able to get the link lights on the first time, they did come on more reliably each additional time I unplugged/re-plugged the network cable.

Posted .Thank you for the comments. as you said the BAD-1#, it is installing the driver after you plug the adaptor into the laptop, it is normal situation. for the BAD-2#, the click sound can't happened due to this product dimension limitation, it can't be same as the router while plug into the ethernet cable.
