Very K00L tech toy that allows you to Mirror anything on your Laptop or IPAD, Etc., to any HDMI Monitor(s), especially given any WiFi or connectivity issues. Some devices may need additional adapters or have to connect via a mini docking station. This is something one might use when their Laptop or mini docking station has No HDMI inputs or if you’re making a presentation and either there is crappy in and out WiFi or no WiFi at all. Digital DJs may benefit from this tool, allowing their media to be viewed on Huge Foreign HDMI screens or older non WiFi HDMI Monitors. I’m no tech wizard, just know from personal experience that this unit works, can help out when needed and is a good buy given its capabilities to cost ratio.

HDMI adapter works great. It took of my needs and easy to hook up.

This is a good product just need to install driver it’s not plug n play , minor headache at first but it’s cool.

Even though it’s 30hz. It’s works exactly as describe and supports multi monitors. Wowed by insignia.

So there I was, trying to connect an old PC tower to a new monitor. I needed an adapter to connect the PC's USB connection to the monitor's HDMI. Went down to Best Buy, where I was assisted by my new best friend, Sergio. He fixed me up in no time and I was out of there. At home, I plugged in the adapter, and literally seconds later I was in business. This item is somewhat pricey, but it does exactly what it is supposed to do. This was a good purchase.

OK. Just wanted to add my experience. I have a Dell laptop with the following ports: hdmi, usb-c (not display port compatible)! Usb 3.0 and usb 2.0. I have 2 lg 29 in ultrawide monitors. Both work with 2560x1080 from hdmi port. I had a hard time figuring out why I couldn't get 2nd monitor to have correct resolution (kept at 1920x1080 max) I bought about 5 adapters. At some point I realized usb-c did not support display. Finally realized I had usb 3.0 - hdmi adapter was plugged into usb 2.0 port. Voila plugged in usb 3.0 - hdmi adapter into usb 3.0 port. My 2nd monitor has 2560x1080 resolution in display settings. Spent weeks on this problem. 1. Check hdmi cable works in hdmi port. 2. Check if usb c is compatible as display adapter (it would be specified, if not listed it isn't compatible) 3. Check which ports are usb 3.0 I bought insignia usb 3.0 - hdmi 4k adapter Model:NS-PA3UHD Now that I figured it out it is likely I could have found a cheaper adapter. Biggest thing is to determine what each of your ports are. Buy the right adapter. Dual ultrawide now work. My setup is side by side. I am going to post this info wherever I can because no answer provided this much detail. I hope I help with any headaches anyone having. Your support gal

easy to use compact. Price was a bit more than i was expecting but it works well and is pretty small

Excelent way to move from usb to hdmi working great for laptops or static pc. Compared to cheap ones this one u get online this one works flawlessly.

Lets say your computer can support 2 monitors, but you need three. What can you do? Buy a new computer? Get your smart nephew to replace the video card? Nope, just walk your tail to BB and pick up one of these USB to HDMI adapters. A cheap easy solution that even an old man can do. Works great.

It work really good, to my laptop (USB) to my monitoring TV ( HTML). For the price is worth it.

With the lack of sufficient number of ports on your laptop these days, buying this USB to HDMI adapter allowed me to be able to connect to my two additional monitors that I was used to. This adapter was very affordable. (Note: After learning the hard way that the USB-C ports do not support monitor connections, I returned that adapter and bought this one.) This one works great!

I bought it because my older computer couldn't convert to 4K so since then I got my new computer working again so I've changed back to just the HDMI between TV and computer however the adapter I bought worked perfectly with my old computer and I will keep it because if I ever need to use that computer it's the only way I can connect it to my 4K TV

We are glad we have the adapter for the computer. We keep it in computer bag and use it as needed.

It was perfect for my project. io needed an extra monitor for my job actually a third one this adapter was just what needed. The thing is I did not have any space left on the computer for an HDMI adapter, and I needed an HDMI/USB for the connection, and it worked perfectly well. i am very satisfied with this device.
