The thing is I did not have any space left on the computer for an HDMI adapter, and I needed an HDMI/USB for the connection, and it worked perfectly well. i am very satisfied with this device.

The Insignia USB to HDMI Adapter works well to make connections. For an external monitor it works as well as the direct HDMI to monitor cable.
