    My monitor died. I had a LCD TV with HDMI inputs. I went in looking for a VGA to HDMI adapter which they did not have. I then asked about a USB to HDMI adapter which they did have. I thought I would have to coax my computer into recognizing the TV. It worked with no problem and now I have a 32 inch monitor.
