I tried many usb to hdmi adapters and none of them work. This one worked perfectly on the first try and it was easy to install. The only drawback is that for some reason my computer video card doesn't seem to recognize the second screen with this adapter even though it doesn't matter because Windows 10 recognizes it without any issues.

I got this for an old Windows 10 laptop that has a VGA port, HDMI port and USB A 3.0 port. I didn’t want to go with VGA. I have two monitors with HDMI and VGA ports. I’ve used the HDMI port from the laptop to the first monitor and for the second monitor, I’ve used this adapter which worked fine with Windows 10 plug an play (I didn’t have to install any software).

This has been a reliable USB to HDMI display adapter. Devices like this as well as USB docking stations can be glitchy. But this has been solid for over a year now. It's a little bulky but that isn't an issue for us.

It's been almost 2 months since buying this, and so far this was a great purchase. Tried a cheaper item from an online store, but had nothing but problems. This item worked out of the box. Plugged it in and was good to go. It's been very reliable and has been working perfectly since we bought it. Hopefully it lasts, but so far would highly recommend it.

Tight fit, durable cord and body, absolutely essntial appliance for MacBooks and older laptops alike. I have purchased a range of Insignia products. I don't recommend the Insignia branded iPhone cords and adapters, but the Insignia laptop accessories provide a good fit with durability. This will stay bright white, even after weeks in a bag.

This adapter did exactly what I needed. It saved me from extended frustration with a computer that had nothing else wrong except the port that my external monitor plugged into was worn out. I am extremely satisfied that this works so well. Easy to plug in and use. Best Buy Geek Squad was awesome to help with this easy fix.

This works great! Nothing to download. Just plug it in and use it. The price is equal to or better than anything you can buy at a major online shopping site. It was readily available in the store so I didn't need to wait for shipping. I easily recommend it.

It works! If you want to add a high res monitor via USB and HDMI, this is the option. Other options only run up to 1080, but this lets me get 1440 resolution.

Works well as intended I got great advice from the Best Buy representative was able to buy this and it’s perfect other stores were unable to provide the same great advice and led to wasted time And frustration on the device to not work as intended

I used this to add an additional monitor to my PC and it worked great. However, it does make a faint yet weird noise when it is being used.

This work really well with my windows computer. It caps at 60Hz but that's expected from USB3.0 to HDMI. However, It did not work with my early 2011 Macbook pro with OS version 10.13. I even tried to install the driver from insignias webpage.

This adapter allows to connect one extra monitor for working from home

The Insignia HDMI Adapter works fine and if your computer doesn't have enough connections built in then you need an adapter to handle whatever addions you want to use.

The Insignis-USB to HDMI Adapter-White. did just as it should have. If you want to connect a computer to the TV. it does a good job. If you have the time you may want to shop around a little for a better price.
