    I have an old Sony VAIO laptop that the screen is damaged and they no longer make the VAIO, so no parts to fix it. It also does not have a VGA port, only USB. So this wonderful little adapter has allowed me to continue using the laptop with the addition of a separate monitor. Glad I can postpone the expense of a new laptop!
