The card reader is fast and simple to use. It's appearance is sleek and the size is perfect for me. The only issue I had ( and it was my fault ), was the USB C would not fit my laptop USB port and I had to order an adapter. It's a good product and I would recommend it to anyone.

Simple. Easy to understand directions and easily able to accomplish. Uploaded all my photos and videos off my GoPros sandisk card right onto my phone.

I was in a trip to Chicago and needed an SD card reader for my Chromebook. This fit the bill! It worked perfectly with a decent transfer rate. If you need a card reader with USB-C connectivity, do not pass this one up.

This is an excellent choice if you need a fast and reliable card reader on the go. It’s the latest USB-C type plug so it works on my MacBook Pro without needing any other connectors or adaptors. Fits SD and MicroSD cards. Easy plug and play right out of the box. I use it to transfer 4K footage from my cameras and Drone all of the time. Super fast and has been very reliable so far. Good value for the price. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

I like to use a real digital camera when I travel. Then I either examine my photos on a portable PC or tablet via the cloud service offered from the camera or, better still, this USB C memory card reader from Best Buy. My travels don't always take me to areas with reliable Wi-Fi or even cell service. This device allows me to remove the memory card from my camera, insert into the reader and view my pictures in detail. More and more, modern devices don't have SD card readers in the perpetual drive to reduce manufacturing costs and save tiny fractions of thickness and weight. This highly portable and reasonably priced card reader addresses answers those concerns.

Less expensive version of the Apple one. I used it on my MacBook Pro as well as my iPad Pro. Works on both. No issues.

Cheap, but reliable. That should be insignia's motto. But i would recommend this memory card reader for professionals on a budget. Using a 2020 16" Macbook Pro for video work. I would say to those that plan on using both card slots to be careful. If you are uploading using one of the slots, do not put a card in the open slot while uploading. I did this and it stopped the transfer. Ended up corrupting that file. Luckily I had a backup. Other than that, it hasn't failed me yet.

This will be a very useful device cause I take out my memory cards for my phone and I can plug it up an import my photos onto my tablet or my laptop, and on top of that I can get my Nikon memory card and import my pictures on my tablet and my laptop which is a very good thing this is going to be a useful adapter I'm going to be using this like every day.

I was searching type c memory card reader to transfer my photos from dslr camera to laptop. After extensive research I found this option as economical. I have been using this for more than 6 months now and not faced any problem. Overall this is a very good product.

Got a new samsung phone and the charget port was different than my old one, the c type is easy to plug in because it's not directional. The card reader was what I needed for my trail camera cards. Let's me see what's showing up as soon as I get on the stand.

This is very convenient and works as advertised. The price makes it worth buying also. It's small and easily travels with me when I'm taking pics and need to quickly transfer full resolution pics from my camera to quickly edit and share with others.

Went on vacation and forgot my memory card reader. I prefer to download my photos daily on my computer, so I went to Best Buy and picked up this relatively inexpensive reader. It works very well and is easily stored in the smallest compartment of my camera bag.

This product is a lifesaver! I'm able to upload videos straight to instagram/youtube from my gopro to the phone and then edit! It's really come in handy for my online uploading! Highly Recommend if you're a video editor without wanting to need a computer and only want to use your phone!!

I’ve owned this one for some time now, and it reads better my SD cards than my laptop built in reader. By that I mean that at times an SD becomes corrupted and the reader refuses to read it. This card reader doesn’t so I get to format and recover bad SD cards with it. It is also extremely fast. I bought it specifically because Of how fast it transfers data. I have a 360 camera so I constantly move the SD back and forth between camera and laptop. This Card Reader is super fast at transferring big 360 video files. And it does great with lots of small files too, where the risk is to crash during transfer. Also it doesn’t run too hot, so I’m sure I will own and operate it for many years (until USB-C becomes obsolete which will happen sooner than this card reader will have a chance to break down.

This is a great chip reader, allowing me to transfer my photos onto my laptop computer. Handles regular size chips as well as the micro chips. Easy to keep in my computer case so it's there when I need it.

Great Memory Card reader. With the USB Type C port I can link it directly to my Samsung Galaxy phone and transfer my photos.

Found out about this from a friend. It's a neat little card reader that gets the job done. I was between this and the $100 HyperDrive USBC hub, but I preferred dongle-life instead of having the big brick on the side of the computer.

I wasn't sure about an external card reader. I have always had one buikt-in. But I must say that I really do like it. I wish I had gotten it sooner. I can recommend it to you.

Does what it needs to! Purchased a second one as backup. I really hate that Apple didn’t add an SD card slot into a computer most professional photographers/creators use but this is a cheap fix for their stupidity. Be sure to “eject” before removing cards. The dongle can stay inserted when swapping cards, you just won’t see it listed on your desktop until the next card is inserted. Perfect size and easy to store/transport.
