I bought a new chromebook that only has usb-c and I needed a new adapter to use my chromebook while teaching. I bought this product and it works as advertised. However, the product is overpriced compared to what is available on other websites. If you do not mind the price or need an adapter right away (like me), this product works well. If you have time to wait, do a little research.

I work with many different LCD projectors and this adapter works perfectly for all the HDMI connections. Great size and price.

This Dongle is great. It functions just as it should and that's the reason for my five stars. The reason for the wording in the Review Summary Title is that it is very annoying to me that Laptop Designers are so distracted with the unfunctional feature of THIN-THIN-THIN in their designs that they've made me buy $70 worth of dongles for my $1500 Laptop just to get back the needed HDMI, LAN and USB ports that came standard on the 6 year old Laptop it replaced. In some ways we are going backwards.

But the store and the pandemic for my son to use his chrome book on the television. This helps exponentially to be able to see teachers work on blackboard and whiteboards. I highly suggest anyone who is homeschooling or has issues with seeing on small screens to pick one up.

Works really great. The only issue is that it gets really hot at times. I eventually bought an USB-C to HDMI. I use this adapter sparingly now whenever I need a third monitor. No lag or anything.

I purchased this thing by accident. I was grabbing gummy bears from the counter and knocked this into the other products I was purchasing.. Bought it and came home, discovering that I already needed it for my macBooknonpro but had not realized I bought it yet.. What a surprise when I walked into the office next day and did a presentation to the projector .. neet stuff . where do I attach the flash cube ?

It is very nice to be able to display iPad Pro onto the tv with out having to have a Apple TV. Video and sound quality are very good. I don’t have the best internet or cellular service at my house and loading or displaying a movie from my iPad loads the movie faster than trying to stream it to my tv. I would recommend this if you want a way to display iPad Pro to tv without needing a more expensive Apple TV.

Works brilliantly with my new laptop that does not have either VGA or HDMI outputs (keeps it nice and thin but doesn't help much when you are road-warrioring it). I didn't get to really test it out prior to the first time I really needed it but I plugged it in and then hooked in the HDMI cable from the projector on site and it worked just as it should. My only complaint is that these dongles are a tad pricey, though for the most part this one should take care of me.

Apple just does not like to have standard interfaces with their computers. My family uses Windows PC's and the laptops all come with HDMI or mini HDMI built in. You don't have to purchase more items that are easy to lose or misplace. Leave it to Apple to continue to play games with the rest of the industry.

The newer laptops don't have all the connections to hook up to external big screens or projectors so adapter cables are a necessity. Traveling and doing a lot of power point presentations, and not knowing what you will be hooking up to, requires a series of adapters to show your presentation. this one does what it is intended to do.
