This USB C to A adapter is just what I needed to use my "legacy" USB A devices on my Mac that doesn't have any USB A ports. Solidly built and affordable. I would recommend this to anyone needing a quick, affordable way to connect USB A devices to a USB C port.

Well built. Looks solid. Would have preferred the cable to be 2” longer but it works well enough as it is. I am using it to connect a USB 3 type A port replicator to my USB C laptop.

Works great for my photography business. I will put pictures on a flash drive for my customers to have. They usually can't wait to see them so I plug the flash drive into this device and hook it to my phone. Then we can view them together and see if any additional photo editing needs to be done.

Until we are living in our glorious "All things USB-C" future, you will need to plug in something with a USB-A connector. I liked this adapter so much I purchased two of them. I have used them to connect in everything from a USB mouse to an external Blu-Ray player - all of which performed flawlessly.

Great cable. Does exactly what it's supposed to do at a good price. I bought it to connect to my Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2019 tablet, and works very fast and well for transferring files via thumbdrive. More specifically for me, i also use this cable to connect the tablet to a digital piano via USB, to send MIDI data. So the OTG cable allows the tablet to act as a host, and now it works perfectly with music apps that use MIDI. Hope this helps musicians looking for an OTG cable.

This enables me to print from my HP printer. It fits in my laptop case.

My son's Oculus Rift S started having problems so after reading and googling information online someone recommended using this cable. Well....his rift is working again thanks to this cable. His rift plugs into computer thru USB so I just connected this to the adapter and plugged the C into the computer.

I needed an adapter (USB Type C to A) in order to install an additional printer on my new laptop. The new laptops have fewer USB ports (legacy type) than the older laptops. I visited Best Buy and a representative pointed me to the Insignia brand adapter. It does the job and the price was good.

This adapter is not only cheap but very useful and easy to use.

This little item is a necessary attachment to my new computer because, without it, my printer and fitbit cannot be plugged into my new MacBook Pro. It will only transition one attachment at a time, which is a downside, but I opted for this rather than a much more expensive dock that will accommodate multiple attachments.

For a dongle like this, it's fairly normal sized and works just fine.

I can't swear if I'm getting the full 5 Gbps USB 3.0 throughput promised in the description - but it's fast enough to transfer files from my USB 3.0 external drive to my 2018 Macbook Pro, and it's MORE than fast enough to attach a printer or a mouse to! Given it's only $4.99, I'd call that a bargain no matter what its throughput is....

This adapter was a great price and works well with my MacBook Pro.
