I have both an Apple And now an insignia adapter and I actually like the durability of the insignia better. Both perform similarly, but the insignia adapter just feels like it will hold up better over time, and for a much cheaper price.

This adapter was a great price and works well with my MacBook Pro.

Need to transfer my data and apps from my older and chronic butt dialing (even while using 'screen-lock') LG to my new Galaxy. the 'Smart switch' wasn't working wireless through our home WiFi so I adapted my LG USB to this and it did the trick!

I had to transfer some data from one Dell tablet to another. And the easiest way to do it was to use a thumb drive. But Since the Dell tablets only have a USB-C port, I needed to run out and get an adapter from Best Buy. It's a great piece of hardware, and at a great price. Still works with no issues. Thanks, Best Buy!

It does the job: allowing users to adapt USB-A to USB-C. The speed is slightly better, but the ability to adapt to USB-C, especially for those using new thin-and-light laptops, is tremendous.

So if you own a new MacBook (like I do) you know the ports are all USB Type-C now. So with me having an iPhone and using my MacBook for data transfer/iTunes or whatever else, this has been EXTREMELY useful. The only thing is that the material is not of the greatest quality, but other than that I use it frequently.

This adapter is a great way to add another usable USB-A port to your laptop or desktop. USB-C may be the next big thing, but few actual devices are using the USB-C form factor. With this short adapter you can plug-in any normal USB-A device and away you go with another port that can be used now while devices are catching up to the C type connectors.

Half the price of Apple's dongle and works just as well.

Works very well. I wasn't sure a cable existed that would do what I needed. Transfer data to and from my android tablet and a USB thumb drive. I asked a best buy employee about what I needed to do he knew immediately went and brought the proper cable.

Life saver on planes! I’ve always found the apple ear phones not to fit in my ears so well so I prefer other headphones and it works out great since I can use other ear phones with my iPhone. I only wish I knew about this sooner!

The office I work for bought us tablets and sent us a wireless mouse later, NOT taking into account that the dongle for the mouse would not be a micro. This saved the day wonderfully

I needed this for my 2019 MacBook Pro because it only has USB-C (Thunderbolt 3) ports. All my USB 2.0 devices can connect through it, so I'm happy. That includes old external hard drives, thumb drives, audio interface, keyboard, mouse, etc.

Necessary for quick data transfer and it's easy to store!

In order to use my Apple Super Drive with my new M1 iMac, I had to buy this dongle, because the iMac only has USB-C and Thunderbolt ports and the Super Drive can't get enough power from my CalDigit Thunderbolt Hub. The adapter works!

This USB C to USB 3 converter cable is great in many ways. It has about a four inch cable which brings the usb connector out from the very flat body of my new laptop, making it easier to hot swap devices. And it allows you to plug a hub into it to make up for the diminishing number of usb ports in today's newest laptops. Works flawlessly.
