Recently purchased the Apple Pro and to my misgivings had to add an adapter purchase with it. Unfortunately, the newer MacBooks have only the charging port on them. An adapter must be purchased so you can use it with other devices. Best Buy readily pointed it out so I could buy the necessary accessories, As always with all my purchases with Best Buy the staff is very helpful. Thank you!

This was the perfect item we needed to transfer data from our card reader to our tablet. It's important to make sure the type of adapter you get will fit into the port. The newer android tablets take a C adapter.

Works well and it was a great price. I bought it because the new MacBook only has USB-C inlets. A pain for my older drives I need to access but this adaptor works very well.

This is the adapter I needed for my external dvd/cd drive with my new MacBook Air. It also works well with my external backup drive. I’ll need it for anything I want to connect with a USB cable.

I bought this to burn my CD mixtapes from my saw system on the MacBook Pro i bought. Plugged it in and it read it fine. Never got to use it but it’s simple enough to understand what it does

I have been finding more and more uses for this adapter and would easily recommend this for anyone needing to be able to change cable types on the fly.

No complaints. Nice price. Does what it’s supposed to do. Insignia is a very good brand. Haven’t had any issues. It connects instantly...I don’t have to disconnect and connect to get it working like some products I’ve bought online. Totally recommend if on sale. If not and the price is still lower than other competitors, you won’t be disappointed.

Although I wanted the Samsung version to match my Galaxy Book, the Insignia model is just as good for less money, but still performing like the OEM product would. I am happy and was able to save some $$$.

I wanted to have this since one of my tablets only came with the USB c to USB c cable charger, and to be able to use a docking station that only has USB output with the tablet / pc. Works with no problems.

This is a great USB C otg adapter. I use it so I can plug in an external hard drive to my Android phone to remove videos off it that I don't need to keep on it.

This is just what I needed to use my office laptop at home. I needed a USB A connection for my wireless mouse but the laptop only had USB C available.

This it’s my is so helpful. It’s a life saver. I use this to connect my external and also my phone charger. I don’t know what I would do with out it.

The people at the Best Buy store said these were a less expensive replacement for the Apple cable. I agree with them. They're cheap enough where you can have one for every day and one for your iPhone. recommended!

New laptop/tablet has USB-C ports (and not much else), so needed some adapters. This provides all the speed of USB 3.1 and is small and easy to pack up or just carry in a pocket. What can I say? It works great.

New laptop only had two full-size USB ports, and a mini USB. Needed the third connection, Best Buy had the adaptor which allowed me to route my printer to the mini USB. Works like a champ.

Unfortunately the new MacBooks only have two USB-C ports. I had to buy this adapter to plug in my iPhone to sync with iTunes. Although it’s a pain to have an extra adapter it’s 100% useful!

I bought this because I have a Dell 3100 dock and a MacBook pro. The dock only had USB 3 port for hook up but the Mac has USB c ports only. The dongle works just perfect with no problems.

I am very impressed with this cable. The sales person recommended it and now I see why. Compared with what was in the package with the computer, this little gizmo is fast and reliable. Well worth the money.
