With so many things still using the older style usb you just gotta have this thing. It’s alao half the cost of the apple version they want you to buy and I’m convinced it’s the only reason apple didn’t put the older version in the new MacBook. Might buy another one for the other port.

Works Just like a USB 3.0. I had problems with my USB 2.0 and I read about the USB Type-C-to-A Adapter and decided to buy one and it is a lot faster than the USB 2.0. Now I need to buy one of those 4-way adapters that plug into the Type-C connector so I can add all kinds of accessories.

the new cable system requires the use of this dongle to connect any USB device. So If you plan on using any other USB device you will need the dongle. I Recommend the Insignia brand over the apple. It is well constructed, works well and it is considerable less expensive than the Apple product.

Great adapters that work well. I put 2 in my dongle bag. USB C connector is small enough that you can fit one into both side by side ports on a MacBook Pro. Great value for functional equipment that you would expect from the Insignia brand.

For old tech dinosaurs like me, this is exactly what you want -- an inexpensive product that allows you to keep using slightly older technology, in this case a USB 2.0 flash drive. Worked exactly as expected without any problems. No need for flashier, far more expensive items.

After purchasing my Macbook pro I needed an adapter for my flash drive so I purchased this one in the store. It was at such a great price and it works really great. It is ligthweight and small to take on the go. So far no complaints at all!

As you know the new MacBook Pros come with type C USB ports. This little adapter converts the USB type C to a regular USB port. It works perfect. It is constructed very well. And a great price compared to the Apple version.

I bought this for my Galaxy Tab S3 and so far has worked great. I can transfer files from my USB Flash Drive to my tablet. I was also able to use my XBOX 360 controller with the tablet. I also had good experience with Insignia products and they feel like premium products.

I bought this cable to attach my laser printer to my USB-C Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro S. It works flawlessly and I am able to use it on others USB-C products as well (Such as my galaxy S8). Excellent product. Great price!

You pretty much need this adapter for any newer laptop especially a MacBook Pro. I have the hyperdrive 9-1 dongle and I still use this thing just because I need it. This works and it’s affordable. Just buy it, you’ll need it.

Awesome little cable. Works on my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G. I use it to pull BIOS logs via management port on servers and read and write files on USB drive

My Dell XPS 13 2 in 1 only came with one adapter, but I needed an additional one and this one fit the bill. This is also one of the best products to use a $5 rewards certificate on. Speeds are great for flash-drive transfer, and works great with a USB mouse.

Bought wifey a Microsoft Surface Go several months back, which only has a USB C port. She needed to offload everything on her (dying) Android phone. Plugged it in, worked immediately and perfectly! This is the (near) future. Get one now.

Unless you plan on plugging in 50 things at once, this single adapter I bought for $10 is a wayyyy better deal than the multi outlet adapter they tried to sell me for $99.99. Works great and is easy to keep on your person when needed.

My HP laptop came with the usual 2 USB ports and also a type C USB. This adapter was very nicely priced and truly plug and play. I don't have anything that uses the type C, but this adapter gives me a much-needed 3rd type A. I highly recommend it.

I needed extra adapters to fit a variety of USB devices connected to my MacBooks and these work perfectly. I don’t need long extensions, and these are nice and short.

If you need to convert something with a USB Type-C port to a something with a USB Type-A port or vice-versa this is the ticket for you. With today's changing technology you really don't know when you will need this, but you will. The good thing is that from what I can tell, or have been told, both these type ports will continue to be incorporated into electronics into the foreseeable future so your money won't be wasted on something that will "go out of style" any time soon.

When I went to buy my MacBook Pro, the manager recommended me to buy this adapter. I didn't know what it was for, but I got it anyways lol. When I got it delivered to my house I was like "ohh duhh I know what this is for." It has helped me with syncing anything from my iPhone to my MacBook and with my printer at home. Yes, it is kind of annoying having to carry it because I'm afraid I'll lose it, but it comes in handy when you need to sync or do anything that requires a usb. I would highly recommend it!
