I was frustrated that the new apple laptops don’t have a USB port, so I was looking for something cheap and easy to plug into the lightning port to be able to plug in my external hardrive and other USB cords. This adapter is easy to use and seems to do the job as well as any of the other more expensive adapterS.

I got my USB Type-C-to-A Adapter, It seems too bulky, but at least you could get it done what you want. I connected my iphone with it. It was working well. I will recommend this to my friend because it's really affordable.

This is a perfect cord for using a new MacBook pro and USB drive. I wish the cord wasn't as long but no big deal.

Can't beat the price and compact so it fits in any small pocket in your workbag.

Save money and buy this instead of the more expensive apple brand. Works perfect with MacBook Pro

The USB TYPE C TO A adapter was easy to use and a great price

I purchased this to transfer photos and files from my large supply of regular-sized USB-A sticks to my Surface GO, which has the smaller USB-C port. Worked beautifully! I believe this will work with all laptops and tablets with a USB-C port. What a relief it was to be able to continue using my USB-A sticks with my new tablet that has only a USB-C port. Very reasonably priced too! Thanks, Best Buy!

My computer has two USB 3 ports on it but 1 is an USB-c connection.So I went looking for an adapter because USB 2 is just to slow. I ran into many that was $19.99. So I found this one for $9.99 but it said it was MAC use. Then I started to see all of them said that. So I went ahead and got it for My Windows 10 and it works great. I get the same speed with it as I do with the other USB connection without the adapter. Thank god for this adapter much faster. Now I with both of my hard drives coping files form one to the other I get around 100MBs of data copied instead of 18 to 24 with USB2. The speed does very for hard drive to hard drive or thumb drive. So you may get a faster or slower speed.

I got a new laptop with only had a USB-C port and could not connect my backup drive. Purchasing this adapter cable was tons cheaper than new backup drives. (I backup my backup, to be safe.) I found this inexpensive cable online at Best Buy, and ordered it for delivery. It arrived quickly and works just as great as it should! Success!

I found it very functional and at great price. I carry this in my laptop sleeve all the time.
