I bought this as a spare to keep in my backpack. When I tested it, I needed to install the drivers a couple of times, but once I did that, it works great. In fact, it works much better than the OEM one that came with the laptop!

My computer does not have a slot for ethernet connection, so i have to buy this adapter. It works as expected, and i was able to connect my compute to the router to do a bridge mode between att and google wifi. It is a bit pricey though for a little thing.

Needed a usb c adaptor for my macbook pro and found this on BestBuy's site and i have to say this works great. Fast speed and works on all my macs, macbook air, macbook pro.

A must have for those telecommuting. Faster speeds are achieved by using the adapter over wifi connection. The cost was affordable and quality is good. Most laptops don't come with regular USB ports anymore, so the USB-C works.

Likes: The product worked right out of the box. The product does exactly what it is supposed to do. Dislikes: If you are using it for a cell phone, you can't charge and use at the same time. Overview: With the likes and dislikes listed I would definitely recommend the product.

I have a newer MacBook and it doesn’t come with anything other than two USB-C ports and a headphone jack. It’s really upsetting because I’ve had to purchase so many adapters but I’m so happy with this one. It works amazingly and I’ve had no issues thus far.

I bought this for my Nintendo Switch. It works perfect for that, plug and play. It also works with your laptop and if - for some weird reason you want to - your smartphone.

Bought this adapter because I was tired of using the Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter and then a Thunderbolt to Ethernet. This plugs right up and works great. Great feature to have the link and activity lights as well.

Bought this for my Macbook Pro as I work from home often and wanted to connect to my home network directly instead of using WiFi. Plugged this into the adapter / USB Type-C extender I bought to be able to use HDMI and USB and it had no problems connecting to the internet.

If all you need is a USB-C (Thunderbolt port) to Ethernet adapter, this is the best choice available. I would love to see this same adapter available with another female USB-C port to replicate the port that is consumed on the laptop by plugging this in.

Bought this to connect Ethernet to my MacBook Pro for a more stable connection should there be a need while videoconferencing, etc. MacBook picked up the wired connection, no problem.

Are you wanting to make the most of your internet connection? Plug right into the cable modem or access point with a category 6 cable and this cost-effective solution from Insignia. The USB Type-C adapter will fit your newer iMac, iMac Pro, MacBook Pro/Air or iPad Pro just fine.

Works well just as described for less money. All in all it’s a good deal.

Great product! I was on an extended business trip and needed fast internet. The hotel wifi was horrible, but with this adapter, I connected to the ethernet plug on the wall. I was even able to stream movies at HD.

This adapter is exactly what I needed. My WiFi signal at my house can be pretty weak sometimes but using this Ethernet adapter helped in those situations where I needed files to be downloaded faster. I recommend this Ethernet adapter if WiFi signal is not the strongest in your house.

Good piece and at a fair price. I think i got it on sale, but the point is that I was able to get a little over 150 mb more than my 5G network when using this device. I use it mostly for file transferring and online gaming.

I use this ethernet converter to connect to my Chromebook via wired Internet seeing as how it does not have a port on itself. I get great speeds, no downtime, no issues.

My wireless service at home would not support the 1000 fiber service coming in to my home. By plugging in an ethernet cable to my router attached to this USB-C adapter I am now getting 1000 mbs speed on the internet. Great adapter, this really screams!!

Since many PC's aren't coming with a built in Ethernet port now, this works great. It is plug and play compatible (don't need to install any software) and since it connects to the USB C port the performance is very good.

First Ethernet adapter purchased. Plug and play no issues whatsoever. No drivers needed, upon plugging in it was ready to go just plugged in my ethernet cord and was on the local network wired.
