I got this for my 3DS XL and it is exactly what I wanted. I could easily see myself dropping my 3DS when traveling and have it break. This case eliminates that issue. The case is a little bulky, but I have no doubts my game is protected. I also enjoy being able to store a couple extra games and memory cards inside the case. Some people may complain about only being able to keep two extra games in the case. The way I look at it, I can switch whenever I go somewhere and carry the three games I'm most likely to play. (one in the 3DS, two in the slots). If you really want more game slots though, this case is probably not for you.

Great case that I found on the cheap while browsing the aisles, works nicely with the intended 3DS handhelds, really solid case. Great for airline travel to protect your precious cargo enroute! Only down side is that is a bit large and it doesn't hold that many games, but honestly the three + one it stores should be enough...

The case is a little bulky but it will protect your 3DS XL. It holds 2 extra games, 2 sd cards and a stylus. I wish the case would hold a few more games.

This case is good protection for a 3DS and the price is decent. Just make sure to USE IT! It's no good if the game system is dropped while NOT inside the case!

I bought this case on sale for my new 3ds xl. Unfortunately the case was too small for it but despite having to return it for a different case I wad still impressed w the design & would've been happy to keep it had it fit the newest model. Insignia Makes good stuff.

This is a well made and rubberized case for the 3DS XL. Works great, I got it open box for like $5 so well worth it. The only way it could be any better is if it was waterproof.....how about that a waterproof 3DS case.

This case is great! It's super hard and I got it in the pretty red color. If you want maximum protection for storing your 3DS XL, this is it! I also want to note that I have a Hori Clear Case on my 3DS XL, and that it won't fit into the vault unless I take it off. If you have a clear case and want to store it in another case for protection, I suggest going for the Insignia™ - Go Case for Nintendo 3DS/3DS XL - Black.

Protects well just make sure you get the correct system for it. Does not protect new 3ds

This case is built very well and can withstand a beating. It would be great for kids because it could be dropped and not damage the console inside, so I would absolutely recommend this case to anyone with kids or looking for extra protection!

I bought this on special price, Best buy had great deal on this protective case and didn't think twice to take advantage of it and bought 2 one for me and the other one for a friend, love the design and durability it keeps my Nintendo 3ds safe. It is big would be the only downside side of it but you wouldn'wouldn't worry of your 3ds as long it's inside of it.

This DS storage box is great for protecting your game unit. It is hard sided and can be put in a purse or stuffed into a cargo pants pocket without fear of damaging the DS itself. It has slots for game storage so you can have a game selection with you and even a place for a stylus pen. Great amount of protection and storage. Look no further.

I got this on sale. I think it's okay. It only holds 2 games. Holds two sd cards and 1 stylus. It has a hard shell design. I use this to put my spare 3ds, I was not picky when I got this.

I really like this case because it is quite sturdy. But it doesn't have room for the AC adapter. Most of the cases don't!!!

It provides protection when my son is not playing his XL, but it only holds 2 games.

Not for the New Nintendo 3DS XL made in 2015. Will only fit older models.

just to the point 1.It fits perfectly on the 3DS XL 2.this is more to keep it safe, very uncomfortable if you want to play with the case on 3. very hard case, nothing will happen if you seat on it by accident

great product, does what I want it to do. has room for games and the device. price is right. it's great.

I bought this case for my 10 year old son for his Nintendo 3DS XL. I liked that it had space to hold several games as well and was priced below more expensive items that didnt seem as well constructed.
