For $4.99 I din't think about it, I just bought it. It is really good and protect the Vita very well. I have a PS Vita Slim and fit perfectly. Totally recommend it. It is basically the same hard case you can find at Amazon, but BestBuy has it a lot cheaper.

for my vita 2000, fits perfectly. it is very snug, not too much pressure on the unit not too little (not loose). the screen has a felt like cover patch that goes over it that does not appear to do any damage to the screen, although i am cautious, i wouldnt rub the patch against the screen needlessly and i would still get a screen protector for my vita anyways. the unit does not open on its own, but does seem like it will not last a long time due to the latches looking kinda cheep. big warning. do not use the game cart storage slots. they will leave a hole in the label and rip the labels on your vita game carts. i regretted buying this item when it messed up the first vita game cart i tried putting in those slots. when the item went on sale for 5 dollars a week after i purchased it for 20, i figured it would be worth 5 but not 20. well i'm grateful that at least i have a vita case so i can actually take my vita with me to places now.

Case is just a great design. Durable thick plastic, padded interior with storage yet not too bulky. The only possible negative is the hinge could be bit more have duty design but it too early to say whether that makes a difference or not.

The case is pretty sturdy, fits my Vita slim without any problems. It can hold a few game cards, too. I would not advise storing anything extra in it since it's already a little snug. I would've loved to have fit my ear buds in there.

While looking for a case to protect my new PS Vita, I was hoping to find something that was slim and portable but still offered a decent amount of protection. Well, it turns out that case doesn't exist... I checked several other stores (Target, Gamestop, etc) and was not impressed with any of their cases. They were either too big or paper thin (which would not protect against a drop). The Vita does fit into this case snugly and the hard shell has actually saved it from being dropped a few times. There are slots for 4 game cards and a spare memory card in the top portion of the case which is handy. I also like how it has a microfiber protector inside the case which protects the screen. This case probably won't fit into most pockets, but if you don't mind carrying it, I think it seems to be better than most other cases I've seen.

The case can hold a few games and has a memory slot. It's ideal for travel or storage of the ps vita. Keeps it secure and protects the device. The case wasn't expensive either which was nice.

Can't beat this case @ $4.99 during July 4th sale. Great protection for the Vita + storage for for 3 game cards and 1 memory card.

This case does not open as easily as my old one, and it allow you to fit both versions of vita. If your serious about keeping your vita clean and safe, then buy this case!

Shopped a lot of cases & returned some others once I found this one it was the clear winner. Has slots for extra game cards & extra memory card. Outside is super rugged, you could throw this thing & PS Vita would be fine. It's not super light but I wanted protection from life. The inside holds the vita so snuggley you can turn open case upside down & the vita stays in place!! the locking mechanism just slides to the right to open but it's not going to open on accident, extremely sturdy & quality made.. Exceeded our expectations, & blew away all other choices. This is the only real choice for VITA players!

It's definitely good protection for when we go out to carry his PS Vita. Holds up well since we've had it for a few weeks now and it has a small compartment for extra games.

The insignia vault case is a great accessory for both vita 1000/2000. very snug fit and you can have up to 3 games and 1 extra memory card to be stored in the case.

I got a PS Vita late on its life cycle. So late that you can't find them in the US unless its imported. So imagine my happiness when I found an OLED version in prestine condition!!! I bought this case to protect it (didn't want to run any chances). They day I got it and first put my Vita in it, i tripped going up the stairs and let go of the Vita to soften the fall (I was OK). The Vita went down the stairs and my heart sunk. To my surprise, nothing happened to it...not a thing. Needless to say, I couldn't be happier with the case.

It holds the PSVita very tight. Protects it when I want to play catch with my son. It holds some game cartridges if you are into not downloading them.

A great item for the price. I found it on sale for $4.99. I have been looking for a case for my vita. You wont get disappointed with this item.

Saw this in store when looking at PS4 games. Very good looking case and protects PS Vita well. Also like the storage spots for games.

This case is heavy but rock solid. PS Vita slim fits great. This could survive a big fall for sure. Most protective case on the market.

This case is solid. Protects my PS Vita. A little on the heavy side and I wish it would hold more games, but otherwise a great case.

This case was the only case available at the best buy I went to, only 20 bucks, so I thought, "what the heck." Very solid case, feels very sturdy and protective. It has room for 3 games and an extra memory stick. It also has a protective flap to protect the screen. It's pretty bulky, but I don't mind sacrificing slimness for protection.

Love the hard shell. It protects the Vita very well and has room for a few games. It is great for transporting and travel.
